porterhouse (953), Alna, Maine, USA May 2, 2008 (Bottle (best before end 7/08) from Lou’s Beverage Barn) Ho-hum...Pours slightly hazy gold with a pillowy white head. Aroma is lightly citrusy with a hint of pepper or spice. Mouthfeel is thin, lightly prickly. Flavor is weakly citrusy with a weak wheat malt base. Maybe a slight bit of pepper. Certainly drinkable but basically unremarkable. A notch below, say, Shiner Hefeweizen.
taalhiker (111), Dayton, Ohio, USA Oct 2, 2008 From bottle. Pours clear yellow with a quickly disolving head. Light wheat and citrus on the nose. Very clean tasting but with virtually no finish. Like mgoy said, it reminds me of GI 312. Kinda disappointing.
Rynoplasty (234), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 1, 2008 Light hazy golden color with a small head. Slight wheat taste with some fruit in the background, pretty non offensive. mgoy (282), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA Sep 28, 2008 Magic Hat Hocus Pocus is an unclear orange color with a thin head. The aroma is very sweet with a great wheat base. With notes of orange and corriander, this beer is very silimar to a Goose Island 312. nqualls (422), Tennessee, USA Sep 13, 2008 Bottle. Found this to be a refreshing summer brew. Poured a gold color with a two finger white head. Aroma of yeast and floral hops. Flavor was sweet with a crisp finish. Body was too thin. bsm80 (105), Massapequa, New York, USA Sep 6, 2008 A nice, balanced, light brew with tart and wheat flavors. Another nice beer to drink by the beach. No oranges in my beer, but thanks anyway.
