Not bad for magic hat but not that great on the style, smokey and light bodied. Hint of rust or metallic after taste, not for me

Pours a black color with a medium beige head. Average aroma of slightly smoked and roasted malt. Average flavor of smoked and roasted malt with a mild bitter finish. The body is light with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Not bad, but very forgetable.

A great toasty porter with smoky overtones. A nice hearty pour that I suspect would be outstanding with BBQ or just on the deck with a maduro cigar.

Bottle that makes me nostalgic for the original series that first got me into true craft beer on a random trip through Vermont. Ruby brown with no head. Peat, Montreal smoked meat, smoked malt. Moderate body, sweet, unbelievable amount of smoke with some unfortunate celery.
