COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Earthy, rich and steeped in autumnís magic: itís an ale of change. This potent infusion is haunted by memories of summer and the first frost on abandoned fields. Jinx prepares the bones for snow. It has the glint of golden maples at peak and finishes light as an ode to the fading sun. A bit of peat-smoked malt imparts a subtle hint of smoke that reminds us of fallís bonfires. Available in the Fall.

Bottle. Lightly smoky lactic toffee malt aroma. Amber with nice head. Sour milk and toffee malt flavor. Medium body. Okay but kind of boring.

12 oz. bottle, from Timmy. Pours clear brown, with a medium, beige head. The aroma is oats, light peaty earthiness, caramel, toast, and a touch of dark cherries. Sweet, with a little bitterness. Medium body, lightly carbonated, sharp, and a little harsh. Overall, this is a nice, peaty, smoky scottish ale. Easy and approachable, but with some complexity.

Pours deep amber orange with a slight tan head. Aroma is predominately caramel, dark chocolate, peat and a trace of smoke. Taste is sweet with some acidic tart undertones. It drank surprisingly full bodied with a thicker texture and mild carbonation. I was surprised at the heft. Not much smoke, but a decent Scotch Ale.

Nice copper color, lots of carbonation and a 2 finger head. I find it really well balanced, medium mouthfeel

355ml bottle. Amber pour. Strugglign to find an aroma for this beer, vaguely caramel. Falvor is like caramel seltzer water. Pas sonit.

Always fun to pick up a beer from the mixer sixer rack and find its retired when I get home. I bet this will be great! It is a slightly brownish orange in color with a long lasting head of fine bubbles and little ropes of lace. It doesnít really smell smokey, just phenolic. It is sort of like eating a banana next to a barbecue with a hint of toasted malt character--oddly, this is not entirely bad. Taste is thick and sweet. It reminds me somewhat of an ancient high gravity malt liquor pulled off the bottom shelf of a convenience store but somehow thatís kind of good too. I dunno, if you like some fucken weird shit thatís old and not outright terrible, I recommend searching a dusty singles rack for this stuff.

Singular best beer I have ever had the gastric pleasure of drinking. A perfectly crafted beer for the season it debtuted. If you drank this beer and did not like it, you were having issues beyond the scope of rating the drink-ability of beer in the snapshot of fall in which this beer was available. If it is brewed again, savor the distinct time which it signifies. That pretty much defines a hall of fame beer. All Time Great
