| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 28, 2009 Bottle - pours cloudy amber with a medium head. Nose is slightly citrus. Flavor is very smooth, not as much citrus as most IPA’s. Finish is somewhat rough with plenty carbonation and some alcohol present. I wouldn’t refuse this if it were free, but I probably won’t buy this again for a while. Sparky27 (1586), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 27, 2009 Bottle courtesy of beerbill. Bottled June 2008. Pours cloudy amber with a 2 finger tan head that results in decent lacing. Nose is malt and fruit iced tea. The taste is malt and boozy fruit. Medium bodied. I’d like to try this without a year of age on it, but I doubt it’s much better fresh judging from the other reviews. Birdiebeagle (783), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2009 Draft @ Mayfair in Allentown. Pours a hazy amber decent off white head. The head has average lasting. Has a aroma of pine hops, spices and some sweet malts. The flavor isn’t bad. I was worried it would be too sweet as I think many of their beers are. Was not sweet, not super bitter but lightly hopped. Has a medium body. The finish was okay but not as strong as I would have liked. rugbydude05 (291), Kew Gardens, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with minimal head. Aroma is typical IPA- hoppy, a little sweet, a little spicy. Nothing too overpowering. Taste is just like the aroma- very balanced with nothing standing out. Palate was smooth and drink was fairly refreshing. Drink this one cold. Decent beer, nothing special. WVHouseofBeer (364), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 22, 2009 Had a nice floral hop aroma. There wasn’t much flavor going on here, it had a little bit of a metallic taste to it. It was an okay brew, but not one of the better Magic Hats. Cybercat (787), Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2009 Aroma is crisp, hoppy, slightly fruity and slightly malty, inviting. It pours a clear, dark golden amber, almost coppery, with a very thick and rather persistent head that is fluffy and creamy off-white. Flavor is nicely hoppy, just a little bitter, with a hint of apple and a touch of malt. Texture is tingly and lively, and it goes down the pipes smoothly. A pleasant drink. beerandIT (183), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 21, 2009 Light to medium bodied. Some hops on the nose along with eh, thats about it actually. On the palate you get hops along with an almost sweetness. Not much though a very mediocore IPA. Maybe if there is nothing else around get this one.
