Apr 27, 2009 I like this a shit-ton!!!!! nice orange pour, very mild grassy sweey notes and the flavor is very subtle for an IPA as well. Orange, citrus pine and grass. very easy drinking zIPA i like it alot. great summer beer!

Light dirty earth and fruity-like hop tones balance on just a touch of sweet caramel toast and chocolate. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, bittersweet finish. Apr 23, 2009 This beer is a slightly hazed golden-orange color with a medium thin and foamy off-white head that dminishes steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Fruity hops aroma with traces of malt. Medium body with flavors of moderately bitter hops, citrus and lightly bready malt. The finish is hoppy and lingers for a bit. Overall this IPA is forgettable.

Apr 21, 2009 Thanks 17thfloor! Pours a slightly hazy golden brown with a medium sized off white froth. Aroma is quite strange. A get a lot of piney hops and a bit of a floral citrus. What weirds me out is a bit of a salty vegetable character that is a bit off putting. Flavor has some mild creamy caramel and buttery sweetness. Gains a biting sharp hoppiness along with an unexpectedly sweet finish like butterscotch as 17thfloor and xnoxhatex have said. Lots of malt character in this beer gives it a huge amount of sweetness that sometimes seemed overwhelming for an IPA. Still very drinkable and easy on the palate.

Apr 20, 2009 Light amber color with a big beige head. Aroma of sweet malts and very mild citrus. Flavor is very sweet and malty with a little citrus hops.

Apr 19, 2009 12. oz. bottle from Hollywood Market in Royal Oak MI. This pours a medium amber with an off white two finger head. I haven’t been too impressed with magic hat in the past, but the price was right, so I figured I’d try this out. The aroma was subtle, but I actually thought this was pretty good. I’ve been drinking a lot of session beers lately, and this is definitely be getting this again. Cheers!
