Light spicey hop aroma, bready. Flavor is pine bitterness with butterscotch, some bubblegum, caramel and breadiness. Medium with watery yet nicely carbonated body. Interesting, a little more on the English side. 17thfloor (1457), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Bready bitter hoppy aroma, slight vegetable note. Bitter tangy first taste, very slight caramel, mostly lots of metallic bitterness, toffee finish, its butterscotch! Actually very drinkable despite the red-food coloring-like bitterness. Medium bodied, great fluffy carbonation, not sticky but just slightly chewy. Fantastic label. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 12, 2009 Draft at the Jet Rock Bar in Philadelphia Airport. Very hoppy aroma, floral to the max. It poured amber in color, rapidly fading head. It has a huge malty sweet note, and a ton of hops leaving quite the bite on the palate. It has a big body and a tart, refreshing finish. joeyplush (335), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA

Taste is nicely balanced hops and roasted malt. Very solid IPA - better than I expected. cheapdark (2015), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

Some sediment on bottom, I think; or else it’s just some really active fine CO2. Initial taste is reasonably hoppish too. It’s a weird cutting almost lager kind of bitter hops. Somewhat sharp but yet not too strong on the taste buds. Weird label. Bitter hops assemble thru the session. Finish is lingering bitter bite that is blunt yet pardonable. bubbleflubber (892), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 4, 2009 Pours orange-amber into the glass, with a diminishing foamy head that leaves nice sticky-soap lace down the glass. Very earthen nose, with flowery hops. A citrus flavor accompanies malt upfront, with a slightly metallic mid-palate, and a peppery bitter finish. The mouthfeel is somewhat watery and thin, with an overcarbonated zesty palate. Overall, it doesn’t feel like an IPA by nature, but rather and APA that’s been mixed with the Magic Hat #9. No distinction to the pull makes this a little bland overall. Certainly not the worst brew I’ve had; however, it’s extremely unilateral and forgettable. weezfour (122), Oradell, New Jersey, USA
