Lots of hops with some weak malts throw in the mix. Not a bad IPA, but was expecting something better based on the nose phishpond417 (1935), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

This brew pours a hazey orange colour with a full, thick, creamy, off white head. Aroma is of grapefruit, lime and soft pine. Head is ridiculously attractive to look at. Mouthfeel is creamy but light. Taste is pleasent, firm astringent hop character initially, slight toffee and burnt toast midpalate. Hops are soft and well integrated. Finishes clean and refreshing. Light body and smooth. halfonit (449), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA

So to the say the least I wasn’t sure what to expect. At first smell I could sense the Hops in it and then took my first sip. Definitely has a nice and smooth hoppy taste without any type of bitterness to follow. And this is from a bottle that was best enjoyed in July!!!! I can only imagine how good a fresh bottle will be!!! Good job Magic Hat..........as always. Ron (1012), Rochester, New York, USA

Malt flavor to start but not a sweet malt taste. More of a dry malt taste. Followed by a taste of hops. Finishes clean without the bitter aftertaste. A decent brew. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 12, 2008 12oz. Pours orange with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is hoppy despite my stuffy nose. Taste is hoppy with tons of resin and a decent bitterness. This is above a drain pour but is no great shakes. nimbleprop (844), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2008 12oz bottle pours a tan amber with a foamy, rocky slightly beige head. Only mild citrus in the aroma, a little lemony with some orange with a fair amount of sweet bread hanging about. Flavor was just as mild, more citrus, some darker, chewier grains and a little spice. Slightly sweet, slightly bitter finish that’s a little watery. Very drinkable for an IPA but nothing to differentiate it from plenty of others in the market.
