Jun 13, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a pours a big rich foamy off white head; and gold color. Aroma is husky grain, citrus-some lemon/earthy hops. Taste is husky grain/medium malt with some sweetness, some herbal/earthy/slightly bitter hops. No citrus comes through in taste. The taste comes across as an English Ale. OK carbonation. Jun 11, 2008 Dark golden color with an almost white head. Citrusy flavors mixed in with maltiness and hops. Medium bodied with a dry finish. Bitterness lingers.

Jun 6, 2008 Bottled. Poured slightly hazy medium orange with a short cap of off-white head.. looked nice. The aroma picked up sweeter tangerine and grapefruit notes backed by pale malts and some lighter fruit.. I like how this came together. The flavor had a bit less hop influence with sticky citrus bittness settling over some grapefruit meat and caramel.. the bitterness wasn’t huge, but it was harsh at times on the back.. sweeter finish. Medium-bodied on the palate with an OK flow.. long bitter impression on the finish.. better than expected.

May 29, 2008 12oz. bottle - Great brew. IPA with a great bite. Anybody know it’s IBU? I’m starting to become a fan of Magic Hat. Tyipcal IPA aroma; drank from bottle so I have no idea about it’s appearance; but the finish was long and a perfect amount of bitter.

May 28, 2008 On tap, beer poured perfectly and looked great. A very nice copper color, with a nice cream color head, and a good lace throughout the beer. Very weak hop smell and taste. It does have a bitter bite though, but not lasting. It is a very drinkable beer; just that I thought it would be a lot better than it was. It was Kind of disappointing after having their HI.P.A

May 27, 2008 This beer was interesting. Tasted more like a saison or farmhouse ale than an IPA. Not very flavorful, more watered down for my palate, i dont know what they were going for conceptually.
