LilBeerDoctor (1480), East Setauket, New York, USA Jul 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear light orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, light citrus, and floral hops. Flavor of sweet light fruits and sweet malt. Lightly hopped but definitely not very hoppy for an IPA. Still very drinkable.
7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5) fredandboboflo (1395), East Setauket, New York, USA Jul 12, 2009 Updated: Jul 14, 2009Bottle. Aroma of floral and perfumy/oily hop notes with lots of nougat behind. Flavor has a good dose of sweet caramel malt, vaguely pastry-like, mostly straight-bitter, slightly floral/pollen-y hop notes. Bitter finish. Pretty basic, though not too bad. maugus4ever (121), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA Jul 12, 2009 Pours a hazy copper with a small off-white head. Slightly hoppy citrus aroma with a taste to match. Lighter than I was expecting. Not bad, but I wouldn’t choose this one very often. dkoonce (880), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Jul 12, 2009 The most interesting thing about this beer is the label. A little lighter than a typical American IPA. Finishes a bit long. KajII (50), Macon, North Carolina, USA Jul 10, 2009 Bottle. It poured amber in color almost like cider with a small tannish head, carbonation was mild. The aroma was that of hops and citrus. The mouthfeel was a little light and tasted of hops and citrus ending with a mild sweetness. Overall a mild IPA. pantani (1895), Salinas, California, USA Jul 9, 2009 Amber nice off white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, yeast, coconut, light fruit. Taste is light fruit, mild bitterness, lightly malty. michfan00 (10), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA Jul 2, 2009 bottle. apple cider appearance. non descript aroma upon first inspection. notes of citrus flavor and aroma deyholla (508), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Jul 2, 2009 Bottle. Poured a color that reminded me of apple cider as well as the cloudiness. The head was a darkish off-white. Aroma is hoppy throughout, not much else though. Flavor begins hoppy but transitions in to an almost malty flavor. Not my type of IPA.
