Slightly lemony toffee aroma with nice hops that are not necessarily American--not grapefruit/pine, but spicy/floral. Hazy bronze with a lacy, nearly white, thin cover. Spicy caramel malt with a blast of floral hops that are quite bitter, but a round bitterness--not sharp, that drops off, leaving a nutty, sherry-like flavour. A little tangy green apple note too. Medium body, medium carbonation, almost clean finish. MrBunn (1566), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Bottle. Transparent and thin copper body with a pretty decent fluffy head. Aromas are weak... a bit of fruit and caramel is about all I pick up. Flavor is pleasant enough, but similar to the nose... I was looking for a little more. There are plenty of good hops to be found... pine, citrus and even some floral, but they don’t punch through the watery malt enough. I guess it’s not a total trainwreck and might even be a very good beer to introduce a buddy to the concept of an IPA without hitting them too hard. LilBeerDoctor (1549), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear light orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, light citrus, and floral hops. Flavor of sweet light fruits and sweet malt. Lightly hopped but definitely not very hoppy for an IPA. Still very drinkable.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 11, 2009 Bottle. Pours a amber with orange hues, nice beige head. Aroma of some caramel, nuts, malt, little floral, some hoppy citrus. Flavor doesn’t have much going on here, faint caramel, some pine, decent bitter. Mouth feel is medium body with high carbonation. Overall, it smelled a hell of alot better then the taste. Flavor was just too weak for an IPA. 17thfloor (1519), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Bready bitter hoppy aroma, slight vegetable note. Bitter tangy first taste, very slight caramel, mostly lots of metallic bitterness, toffee finish, its butterscotch! Actually very drinkable despite the red-food coloring-like bitterness. Medium bodied, great fluffy carbonation, not sticky but just slightly chewy. Fantastic label. dmac (1510), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 11, 2008 12 oz bottle from Buy-Rite of Howell drank at Spiegelfest ’08 or as I like to call it my most embarassing day ever. Poured a honey amber with a large off white frothy head. Typical IPA aroma, lots of citrus, some floral hops, grains and caramel malts. Smooth easy drinking with a medium body and medium carbonation. Flavor of bitter citrus rind, light floral hops and grains. Good beer especially from Magic Hat but could use a little more hops. Solid none the less.
