Strong earthy aroma, medium mouthfeel, dry caramel flavor, reasonable hopping. It’s like a crossover between an English IPA (bitter but not as much as an American one and without fruity/resiny hops) and a good English Bitter (the earthy hops). bu11zeye (5731), Frisco, Texas, USA

Very pleasant though the hops lead to an acidic bite. Pleasant aroma, a Magic Hat standard. Orange colour. hayduke (1692), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2009 From a 12 oz bottle this poured a cloudy orange color with a small white head that dissipated fairly rapidly. Nose of caramel malts and citrus and floral hops., and some additional aromas of coriander and pine. Medium mouthfeel. The flavor is unusual, with some spices and maybe the hops creating an odd bitterness that carries over into the dry finish. TheBeerOrg (1595), Kentucky, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Worth a buy for the bottle. Not a terrible beer, but nothing that stood out for me. Pours a very light orange, with a fairly big head on it. Aroma is weak, but a mix of watery hops and rubbing alcohol. Flavor is a bit more subtle. The hops and rubbing alcohol are present, but a little more malt profile than I expected, and a few different hop flavors, which was nice. Thin and watery on the palate. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Beer pours with copper color and nice head with good lacing. Aroma of bread and odd mustiness. The flavor was mild caramel malts, lots of toasty graininess, some pine and herbal hop bitterness and a dry finish. This is an easy drinking beer. Not horrible.
