Sep 25, 2008 Small tan that fades quickly leaving a decent lace behind. Very brite, amber colored body. Faint malts and citrus in the nose. Body is light, good carbonation, somewhat watery though. Light grainy malt flavors,lightly bready with faint citrus notes. Dry, lightly fruity finish. Another snoozer from Magic Hat, Way to go fellers!

Dec 7, 2008 OK, so this is a pretty standard and decent IPA, from a brewery that already has a good IPA (in my mind). Just seems like an unnecessary beer. Not worth going out of your way.

Jan 23, 2009 Pours amber with a bit of off white head. Average amount of hops in the nose with a bit of toasted malts. This beer tastes fine. plenty of floral type hop flavor and bitterness. Good and malty. But really, its just not up to par with most.

Apr 4, 2009 Pours orange-amber into the glass, with a diminishing foamy head that leaves nice sticky-soap lace down the glass. Very earthen nose, with flowery hops. A citrus flavor accompanies malt upfront, with a slightly metallic mid-palate, and a peppery bitter finish. The mouthfeel is somewhat watery and thin, with an overcarbonated zesty palate. Overall, it doesn’t feel like an IPA by nature, but rather and APA that’s been mixed with the Magic Hat #9. No distinction to the pull makes this a little bland overall. Certainly not the worst brew I’ve had; however, it’s extremely unilateral and forgettable.

Jan 10, 2009 Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of citrusy and resiny. Tastes resiny and bitter with a dry malty finish. Another middle of the road inoffensive IPA.

Feb 20, 2009 effervescent clear copper, respectable off-white head, lacy. aroma grapefuit and pine. flavor of caramel, light citrus hops, not as dominant as i would have thought from the nose. medium bodied, bitter finish. not as hoppy as i usually expect from an ipa. aroma more distinctive than the taste. bottle thanks to cornfield.

Feb 23, 2008 Pours a beautiful copper color with a white head. Aroma is caramel, and earthy citrus hops. Flavor is malty, nutty, and a bitter piney hop finish.

Oct 28, 2009 On tap in Hershey. Pours a clear copper color with a white head. Aroma of malts and some hops and citrus. Flavor is more malt than hops and citrus. Some hop bitter end. Sort of missed the point of an IPA.
