Taste is nicely balanced hops and roasted malt. Very solid IPA - better than I expected. thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 16, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a hazy typically carbonated orange brown colored body. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The yummy flavor contained notes of malt hops and caramel. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. stef92 (68), Williamstown, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 5, 2009 (Bottle (best by end 7/08 - oops I’m a little late) from Lou’s Beverage Barn) Pours fairly hazy but bright amber with three fingers of lightly amberish-biege head that slowly recede to a foamy cap. Aroma of pine and light grapefruit over some caramel-vanilla-egg. Mouthfeel fairly smooth and nicely thick for an IPA. Heavy foamy broken rings and sheets pf lacing. Flavor of medium pine and grapefruit hoppiness over a nice fairly rich malt base of caramel, egg and vanilla, along with hints of fruitiness. Medium bitterness overlays and provides a nice pinch in the finish. A nice meaty IPA. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

Fruity aroma. Peaches, grass, some bitter almonds. Bitter finish, but not of the kicking and screaming kind. Well balanced. ChainGangGuy (2619), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, amber body with a small, powdery, off-white head.
Smell: Pungent aroma of spiced citrus and flowers with a vague maltiness and small hint of biscuit crumbs.
Taste: A taste of toasted pale malts with a bit of hard candy sweetness. Citrus fruitiness with a light taste of spicy herbs. Just barely medium bitterness that rides out the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: An alright beer, that’s for sure, but if the hops and bitterness were any lighter, I’d have to remove the ’I’ from IPA. Slipstream (790), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2008 Looks like another new one from Burlington. There is a drawing of a pink cat’s head on the label. The head is foamy and there is a cool little saying on the inside of the bottle cap. This amber-colored brew has a sweet, floral aroma. The flavor is crisp and enjoyably bitter. Sharp, spicy hops come thru loud and clear, and the yeast is noticable, as usual for Magic Hat. This is a fairly light-bodied IPA that still has a solid flavor.
