Bottle->tulip: Pours a large, off-white, rocky head that exhibits good lacing atop a lightly cloudy, amber body that is softly carbonated. Average malt aroma, light yeast, and very mildly floral hops. The flavor’s duration is long being lightly acidic and moderately bitter. The body is light, the texture is sticky, and the finish is astringent.
Not a bad beer and I gave it higher marks based on its separate qualities than I probably should’ve because this would not be a beer I would want to stock up on and keep around, but nonetheless, a good beer for a diversion.

Jul 7, 2008 bottle- very disappointed, and becoming increasingly disappointed with this brewer’s portfolio. Harsh bitterness similar to Hipa, followed immediately by some harsh and unclean hop flavor. Very dull and low on the drinkability index. I bought a six pack, barely drank two, and will forget the other four exist.

Jul 6, 2008 Kinda more like an off pale ale than an india pale ale. In true Magic Hat fashion this light hoppy beer has an odd palate and is not very traditional. Has citrus undertones, as expected from MH. Not bad, not great.

Jul 4, 2008 12oz bottle. A fairly light IPA, and I’m not even sure I called it an IPA at all. Enjoyable enough to drink, if I just wanted a Pale Ale though.

Jul 3, 2008 Pours an orange copper with a thick off white head. Very nice floral slightly citrus aroma with a hint of earthyness. Solid IPA taste; chewy hops with a slight citrus tang and a nice malt body. Not a very bitter brew, which is a bit surprising considering the amount of hops in this. Tasty IPA.

Jun 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear orange, big off white head. Aroma is hoppy: kiwi, tangerine, lots of leafy bitterness. Flavor is hoppy, but lacks a good floral or citrus element. The body is a tad thin and the aftertaste is malty and slightly plastic. There is a nice lingering bitterness though. Not bad, but not strong.
