Look - Light amber in color. Small head
Smell - Citrusy/Fruity hops. Sweet malty smell. Good overall.
Taste - Sweet taste. Very indescribable. Typical Magic Hat. Malty, hoppy. Very wierd hop taste. Fruity/Citrusy type taste. Amazing. Smokey taste. Very original.
Overall, I’d get the HIPA version of the IPA over this one. But I do like this one. Just not as much as their other IPA.

Aug 21, 2008 Semlls very hoppy, lots of sour grapefruit notes. Taste is similar to smell. Lots of hops with some weak malts throw in the mix. Not a bad IPA, but was expecting something better based on the nose

This brew pours a hazey orange colour with a full, thick, creamy, off white head. Aroma is of grapefruit, lime and soft pine. Head is ridiculously attractive to look at. Mouthfeel is creamy but light. Taste is pleasent, firm astringent hop character initially, slight toffee and burnt toast midpalate. Hops are soft and well integrated. Finishes clean and refreshing.

Aug 19, 2008 Sampled at the 2008 Music City Brewers Fest. Amber with an off-white head that has some lasting and leaves chunky lacing. Citrus aroma. Citrus flavor with light caramel and spices. Light body and smooth.

Aug 16, 2008 Well when I bought this beer I didn’t happen to notice that it had actually expired about a month prior. So to the say the least I wasn’t sure what to expect. At first smell I could sense the Hops in it and then took my first sip. Definitely has a nice and smooth hoppy taste without any type of bitterness to follow. And this is from a bottle that was best enjoyed in July!!!! I can only imagine how good a fresh bottle will be!!! Good job Magic Hat..........as always.

Aug 16, 2008 2008 Flour City Brewfest. Golden Amber color. Pine aroma. Malt flavor to start but not a sweet malt taste. More of a dry malt taste. Followed by a taste of hops. Finishes clean without the bitter aftertaste. A decent brew.
