vw_steggie (684), Paxton, Massachusetts, USA Jun 7, 2004 Has a golden color with some carbonation and a white foam head. Smell is slightly skunked. Taste is somewhat malted/skunked and finishes lightly hopped. Overall a fine green bottle beer, but not my thing...
changeup45 (557), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 12, 2008 Updated: Jul 9, 2008I’ve become to expect a good beer from Magic Hat but this is the first Lager I’ve tried from them so I wasn’t sure what I’d get. Golden colored topped by a thin head. Only a little bit of lacing on the glass and the aroma is slightly skunked. Interesting enough, it’s the first Magic Hat I’ve seen in a green bottle. There’s not a whole lot that’s enjoyable with the taste either. Musty, corn flavor with some bitter hops mixed in. Not really that smooth and not as sweet as most Magic Hat beers seem to be, but there definitely was a sweet note in there. Glazed9884 (207), USA Jun 30, 2007 xxx I don’t understand why magic hat did this one in a green bottle. im hopping the light got to mine, cause if not, magic hat did a poor job here. ghawener (667), San Salvador, El Salvador Jul 1, 2006 Bottle: Your plain old lager, drinkable but not recomendable. Unoffnsive, plain, common. eaglefan538 (2039), Wilmington, Delaware, USA May 31, 2006 An average lager, even though I love German lagers. Would definitely drink it again, but won’t seek it out. Musty taste was present with a sweet malt finish. Nice golden color. Beerded_one (1570), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 21, 2006 Bottle. Pours golden with a decent sized white head. Aroma of sweet malts, floral hops, and spices. Flavor is smooth, sweet up-front with a bitter tail. Good body, average brew.
