| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Oct 30, 2009 wow, this beer has more pedio than anything I’ve ever tasted. wood in the back. berries up front. but in front of all of that is a TON of diacetyl. I’m not even that sensitive and it’s overwhelming. maybe this is a innoculated with brett and is just immature?

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 6, 2010 Bottle on BQ2010. I was skeptical when I heard Magic Hat had released a sour ale, but I will try any beer before I bad-mouth it. This beer was awful. The aroma smells like a light lager, with some dry notes of cherry. The flavor is quite similar, tastes like a pale lager with cheap cherry flavoring. raradel (35), Greenville, South Carolina, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 6, 2010 I am a Magic Hat fan so maybe I just hate sour ales. When I first tried this brew I had no idea what it was until I pukered up. This is not a great beer, maybe other sours are good but I may never know. Finally a beer I dont care for. jredmond (1090), New Jersey, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Tried on Beer Quest 2010 with all the guys. This was number 1. Tried this one on the RV. No real chance for pour or aroma. Flavor was mild. Little Sour. Many better sours out there though. jport4087 (102), Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Pours a hazy brown with a thick tanned beige head. Chalky, roast and toast. Light weird almost sourness, more like something a bit off. With that said, it got better as it warmed. iceman15658 (26), Acme, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 2, 2010 Bottle To Pint. aroma is sour. color is deep coppery and the taste is a bit sweet. back to the drawing board blklab2007 (987), Connecticut, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 29, 2009 bottle poured a caramel amber in color with a thin off white head that fizzled off quickly. aroma has sweet malt, musty wood, and a faint tartness. mouth feel is light and there is plenty of carbonation. flavor has some light acidic tartness, sour cherry, yeast, pale malt, and a creeping bite on the finish. overall it is a little thin and watery but I do give credit to introducing this to the mixed 12 packs and getting this out to a lot of people who otherwise might never try a sour. lithy (1860), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
