This unique surprise cross-pollinates the classic American wheat beer with an American Pale Ale. What grows next is a fruitfully unfiltered union with a delightful hop aroma, a pleasant citrus hop flavor, and a beautifully balanced finish that leaves other ales hoppy green with springtime envy.

12oz bottle. Pours hazy orange gold with a thick long-lasting white head. Aroma is very citrusy and orangey with bready maltiness - like orange rolls. Flavor is crisp with citrus bitterness. Smooth and balanced - pleasant hoppiness and bready malts. Balanced dry finish. Easy drinking. Mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing with sugary soda body and pleasant level of carbonation. Overall, a tasty drinkable IPA.

Pours cloudy and hazy (it is a wheat beer, I suppose), colored orange/amber. Quite herbal on the nose with some soy sauce poking through. Wheat malts come through, too, with some toasted oats, too. On the palate this beer is out of balance -- it lingers too long and coats the mouth in almost a paste-like way. However, it isn’t heavy at all, which makes the lingering finish feel "gunky" or something like that. Not particularly impressive.

Purchased as a IPA on Tour, Encore. Pours a cloudy golden amber with a thinning white head and good lacing. Aroma is citrus and hop. Taste is a solid bitterness that slaps you in the face with citrus and wheat tones. Great beer.

im surprised they put this in the ’wheat beer’ category, more like an ipa. the hop flavour and some citrus and malts were evident. easy drinking. did not get any of the flavour you’d expect from a wheat beer.

labeled as "Encore IPA" in Winter land sampler pack. Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. A very nice sheet of lacing. Grapefruit hop aroma. zesty from the wheat with notes of baking soda. Flavor is BIG on cascade hops. Lighter body with high carbonation. Dry finish that does have bitterness but not real bad on my palate. The wheat helps knock down the bitterness. Tastes like grapefruit juice with a little carbonation. Well done! Yummy. Thanks AirForceHops!

lighter brown, orange body with small white head. this is very weak and basic for an ipa. slight citrus and bitterness. orange and lemon zest mostly. very boring....which is typical for magic hat

Easy drinking, nice flavour, light in the hops but it is worth a drink, not too consistent with the IPA style but it has its hoppiness. would drink again

Bottle. Pours light brown with head that retains. Overall not bad. I would like to have some more for sure.

Label says Encore IPA & its red with a dude lighting a lighter for a band, nothing like the one pictured here. Says nothing about wheat on the label either,, just here in the site discriptor does it say that. No smell of wheat in this stuff. Smells like IPA. Looks somewhat like a hefe tho. Some initiial citrus bite in there. Definately IPA fer sure, no mistaken it. After each slug is this hoppy medicinal feel to it. Somewhat oily on the palate but not quite as much as a real IPA. Hey, there’s gunk on the bottom of the bottle, I guess that’s where the wheat comes in. Never appraoches IIPA territory but certainly IPA in form and finesse. Decent CO2 but could use more. Bitter finish. I guess I have had some wheat ales that come across nearly as bitter such as Southern Tier Hop Sun, Arcadia Whitsun & Dundee Summer Wheat.

Amber golden pour, aroma is wheat, resinous hops, a bit of floral, small notes of soap. Flavor is soapy hops, some resin stickiness, light wheat. Decent, very dirnkable
