COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unique surprise cross-pollinates the classic American wheat beer with an American Pale Ale. What grows next is a fruitfully unfiltered union with a delightful hop aroma, a pleasant citrus hop flavor, and a beautifully balanced finish that leaves other ales hoppy green with springtime envy.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2010 There is the drawing of the MH Odd Notion tower again, this time surrounded by wildflowers. Cloudy pour with a quickly dropping head. Pleasant piney floral and malt aroma. Pretty dry and sharp - grapefruit, menthol. A bit thin on the palate, but refreshing. I tried it again under the name "Encore IPA", and liked it more. A nice West Coast style wheat IPA.

12 oz bottle from a mixed 12 pack. Pours pale gold with a slight haze. Capped with a 1/2" off white head. Weak wheat aroma with a hint of random spice. Flavor is wheat, spice and hops, all on the weak side. Pleasant, but unexciting brew.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5136) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 27, 2010
UPDATED: NOV 16, 2010 I had this one on draft when it first came out and was underwhelmed. Now I tried the "Encore" bottled version and found it to be far superior - so the following rating is for the better version. This beer poured a very cloudy apricot color with a large foamy yellow-white head. that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was bitter grapefruit, pine and cactus. The flavor was sweetish and tangy with strong notes of pineapple, grapefruit, lemon and cactus. There was a light undertone of caramel and bread. The finish was medium length fruity hops. Fairly thick body. Well done.

A light color that is very hazy with a lasting bumpy white head. A lemon taste. Even though it is very hazy there is no yeast aroma. Remarkably mild in taste.
