3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: very hazy orange color with some particles floating around. Thereís a soap-like head thatís about two fingers or so in height. The lacing is decent
Smell: Soapy hops -- really not much malt here, but it smells average.
Taste/feel: On the front thereís some massive citrus -- grapefruit sorts. Very bitter. Almost a medicinal flavor in there. The aftertaste is spicy with not much malt to balance it out. Decent beer, but itís just not balanced enough for me.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent looking burnt orange to yellow color with a slim fingerís worth of sharply dissipating white bubbly head. Barely any foam and barely any lacing.
The smell started off with a spritzy sharp sweet wheat, delicate floral tones (but super dry). And then some burnt malts.
The taste was mainly the same bringing the wheat right on into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation runs at a decent pace along my tongue, some sharpness.
Overall, acceptable, but nothing over the top.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Lightly hazed straw color with a moderate off-white head. Aromas of flour glue, wheat, citric zest and pulp. Candy-like citrus flavors jump to the forefront. Light wheat in the background. This one give me another example of an American wheat that I have a hard time embracing. So little character. 3/10

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
4 magic hat ipaís side by side. 1 Electric Peel, 2 Encore (odd notion, wheat), 3 Lucky Kat, 4 HIPA.
Encore is smooth. Wheat balances the sharp ipa flavors. Taste and Aroma are pleasant , but not very strong.
