COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unique surprise cross-pollinates the classic American wheat beer with an American Pale Ale. What grows next is a fruitfully unfiltered union with a delightful hop aroma, a pleasant citrus hop flavor, and a beautifully balanced finish that leaves other ales hoppy green with springtime envy.

Alright, I’m having this one labeled "Encore" in the Magic Hat’s 2012 Wintertime 12 pack... it filled my glass with a cloudy golden brew thst hsd a tall white head and the aroma of bread and bananas. Tastewise, it is somewhat lacking in body, but is still enjoyable.

A hazy yellowish orange color with fluffy white head. Smells like what it is- a hopped up wheat beer. Taste is a bit tart and muddled, not bad, just not good.

12oz bottle from ABC on Betton - labeled as Encore. Gold pour with a medium off-white head and sudsy retention. Aroma of light grain, pine and floral hops. Tastes are wheat, grain, honey. Eh, not offensive, but not so great.

12oz bottle (Encore). Pours a hazy golden color with about a half inch of white head. Aroma is wheaty and sweet, with some citrus hop notes. Taste is Sweet up front, citrusy, fruity, with mild bitterness.

Bottle at Ales and Lagers, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a thin white broken head. The aroma is hoppy leading to a medium bitter, hoppy, spicy flavour which is smooth on the palate and super refreshing.

Appearance: very hazy orange color with some particles floating around. There’s a soap-like head that’s about two fingers or so in height. The lacing is decent Smell: Soapy hops -- really not much malt here, but it smells average. Taste/feel: On the front there’s some massive citrus -- grapefruit sorts. Very bitter. Almost a medicinal flavor in there. The aftertaste is spicy with not much malt to balance it out. Decent beer, but it’s just not balanced enough for me.

Not bad, actually was not as strange as many of this brewery. Was just decent and easy to drink.

Encore bottle, love the artwork. Cloudy gold pour. Great aroma on this, strong citrus and pine. That set me up for a bit of a disappointment, though, as the taste is on the meek side. There’s a pleasing bitterness and tartness in the finish, with a hint of orange. Nice, would buy again.

12 oz. Encore labeled bottle poured to my 1/2 pint taster showing a hazed, orangy gold color, with billowy, off white head foam, and sheet-like cling to the lacing. The aroma started with a hint of sweetness, resiny pine, followed by some citrus as white grapefruit, lemon rind tartness, soft grain/wheat, but a disturbing touch of chemical soapiness that reminded me of Ivory flakes. The flavor initially presented a sharp tartness as concentrated lemon juice, which then combined with a strong & lingering hop bitterness, resulting in an overwhelming astringency, without much malt support. The soapiness was even more noticeable than in the nose. Tough to finish, and finally became drain lubricant.

Pours a cloudy orange amber with a thick foamy head. Aroma of light grain and hops. Taste is mildly sweet with a bright crisp tartness that finishes with a subtle bitterness and a dry finish. Definitely would get a case of this.
