Bottle: Best by 10/10 (whoops)! Cloudy, pale honey gold with a tall, slow white head. Scent is light fruit, orange-lemon, almost a sugar -pineapple..... Strong ginger. Taste is a lot of ginger, in taste and feel, lesser fruit notes... Still very crisp and light, though aged. Probably a nice summer treat when active and fresh....still, pretty tasty!

Notes from 9/3/10. Bottle to glass. Aroma is heavy on ginger and has notes of light fruit like peach. Cloudy gold pour with medium white head. Definitely could pick out the ginger in here. The finish was almost spicy from the ginger. Interesting to say the least. I definitely never bought another bottle of this.

Bottle… Hazy yellow ale with a small, short-lived, white head. The super fruity, modestly spicy aroma furnishes pear, banana and clove. Ginger? Not so much. Medium to full-bodied with jovial carbonation. Fruity and sweet up front; then balanced nicely by lazy hop bitterness and a light kiss of acidity. Crisp, fruity, tangy finish.

12 fl oz bottle bottle from Lubiere (merci!), served cool in a tulip glass. BB OC 10.

App.: Very cloudy dirty golden with floaters and a nice off-white foam. Aroma: Fairly strong, zesty, lemony ginger, a good deal of yeast and a bit of wet bread dough, quite Belgian + ginger, toasted wheat, some light esters, not too bad. Palate: Medium body, pillowy effervescence that gives the impression of more body. Flav.: The ginger is a bit more restrained here, while the yeast and wheat take a more assertive role, toasted wheat, hints of esters, a bit of biscuit, OK; dry with minimal bitterness and a toasted wheat finish with some light citrus points.

Would be a decent quaffer on the patio. Would a newer bottle have more ginger snap? Possibly, but this seems decent to me (not a fan of spices in beer).

(Sample Date: 6/20/2010 Source:Other) Colonial Downs Rhythm Bets and Brews. Grainy earthy with light hop notes in aroma. Clear golden with a small white head. Grainy and moderately fruity with a ginger spiciness but not a lot of ginger flavor. Refreshing.

It has the aftertaste of a Vietnamese dish. Definitely tastes like ginger. Sushi. Light.

Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 12 oz bottle - part of a variety 12 pack. Pours a murky medium orange with barely a head. Slight hint of ginger in the aroma with a back end of pet turtle water. Flavor has a hint of ginger candy - the kind you get with a Chinese label on it, a hint of light citrus and a bit of yeastiness. Mouthfeel is thick enough.

Draft: Poured a golden yellow with a small amount of head. The aroma is lemon and ginger. The flavor was tart lemon, ginger, and yeast. Overall, decent.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a moderate white head that lasted through the first two sips and left light lace. The aroma is lemon, mild spice, and just a hint of ginger. The flavor is wheat grain with some tart lemon, light spice, and just a bit of ginger. I’m not so sure I would have identified it as such if it weren’t printed on the label. I ended up leaving about half of it in the glass before retiring for the night.
