2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Spring variety pack. Thin, and pretty weak on flavor. It didnít jump out at me as an irish red at first. Just OK.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Beer pours a good dark brown with a decent enough head. Interesting nose, very floral with malt present. Very complex, but a bit watery for my taste. Still not bad, but I am glad I got this in the variety back instead of six.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
From the bottle; Pretty unremarkable beer; very light in body and in flavour. Came in the Pandoraís box so that was the only reason we had this.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer is not very impressive. The flavors are plentiful, but they do not blend all that well. The finish is poor, and it seems to fall apart here, with a bad aftertaste.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle courtesy Degarth. Pours a brown amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet strawberries, sweet tarts, and I guess cardamom. Taste is mild caramel and Iím guessing cardamom. Very thin mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. It suits this beer to have odd in its name because that is the only way to describe it.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deep copper red body, thin buff head. Aroma of brown sugar, grape, and toast, earthy hops and spice. I couldnít identify the spice but see it is cardamom. The cardamom is the most distinctive characteristic of the otherwise light, bready, cerealy body. Iím not a fan.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
2nd in a series of ícolorí-inspired beers at McGregorís. This time we featured íred.í
We universally found this one odd and somewhat undrinkable. Very sweet aroma, pine, aqua velva. Similar odd taste. Very little hops in palate, but finished dry with hop resins at end.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
I think this was on sale because the keg was tapped for too long and it was passing an expiration date. Iím glad to see that JB stayed with his íaqua velva assessment. I just thought it was turning alittle sour. Maybe a fresh bottle someday would change my thinking.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tasted 4/28/08. 12oz bottle. Hazy with a ruby hue. Trace off-white head. Spicy aromas. What I thought to be nutmeg or clove was actually cardamom. Medium bodied and odd flavored. Bitter and tart. Just an odd beer.
