Clear yellow pour with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is weird....dirty grains and cat piss with some acidity. Flavor is bland, light crisp grains and some light pine hops. I don’t understand this.

Tastes like dandellions and acid with some light bittering hops and very tepid malts in the background. You know those post-apocylptic sci-fi movies? This is what the main character would probably be drinking, brewed from weed like flowers grown in acid rain. Passable in a mix pack, but not worth seeking out.

Bottle from Sam’s in Durham. Pours a light orange/dark gold haze with a white head. Nose is sweet grain, light vegetal, wheat, some light acidity. Floral and grassy notes. Similar taste but with a touch more sweetness and a dry palate. I could perhaps drink six of these. It’s different.

12oz bottle pours yellow with a thin white head. Aromas are faint some slight floral notes and citrus with some slight bread. Flavor is watery and very weak but on the bitter side. Body is thin and watery with a weak finish

What in tarnation is this dandelion ale? Served up first in January, which is a bit too early to be thinking of spring, grass, and flowers, which this beer didn’t have much flavor of anyway. Flat, boring.

Bottle. Pours cloudy light orange with a thin white spitty head. Nose is flowery, lightly herbal, light citrus, lots of different tropical fruits. Flavor is nicely balanced, dandelion character is evident, no herbal/green astringent, very wheaty, somewhat similar in execution to dfh festina peche but i find this cleaner, drier, and tastier. Impressive restraint from Magic Hat.

12 oz bottle pours a hazy light golden color with medium white head. Aroma has lots of weeds, wildflowers, yeast,some lemon, and a only a hint of malts. Taste is sour with a slightly bitter finish and only fleeting sweetness in the middle. Body is thin. Should be more drinkable than this. It would do better with more malts for balance and more flavor in general. I will not try this again.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2013 Pours a light golden with a lingering head around the rim. Hoppy, fruity aroma and a sweet and hoppy taste.

This is a light beer in color and appearance. It has some resemblance to a pilsner type beer. I would select this beer again. It’s a great first super bowl beer.

A pilsner style beer with the slight fruity taste you get from Magic Hat. Nothing special.
