COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stop and smell the petals. Pistil is a summer beer unlike any other, brewed with a combination of dandelion petals, Pale and Acidulated malts, flaked oats, and Apollo and Northern Brewer hops that results in a one-of-a-kind beer with a slightly sour acidity and a smooth malt body. Perfect for taking down deep thirst.

Yellow, almost but not quite clear, fizzy white head. Smells grainy, grassy, with a whiff of corn. Flavor is cereal, a bit grassy, and an odd bitterness that seems familiar but I can’t quite place it. Dry, slightly woody finish.

Slightly hazy yellow with a big foamy white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, flowers, and herbs. Taste is yeasty and flowery. Body is light-medium with above average carbonation. Not bad; like a saison but somewhat thin.

This is a real unique ale. Made from dandelions it has its own taste. Little fruity an earthy. Smooth with little aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours light organish yellow with white head. Smells of floral, grass, and piney. Mild, mellow bitterness, with very slight bitter finish. For what it is, I really dont have any complaints. Great if your out in the yard in the summer. Not bad.

Points for the strange factor - dandelion beer? Interesting. Spicy and faintly sour. I think pilsner when I drink this one.

I’d say it’s pretty good looking. Clear and lightly tan with a big fizzy white head that surprisingly had really good staying power and left good lacing. Rising bubbles are plentiful. Aroma is lightly grassy, a little spicy, and a bit floral. Flavors that come through are reminiscent of a spring field, with floral, grassy, herbal, with a light hops bite. Body is very light, well carbonated and a bit fizzy, easy to drink with a slightly grassy aftertaste. Overall it’s a nice summery type beer, which ironically, I’m drinking in the dead of February. Nothing spectacular but worth a try if that’s what you’re looking for. Great for Saturday yard work.

Pours a dirty, gold color. Alot of carbonation and a medium head, with lighit lacing. Aroma is of malt and light citrus. Not one of my favorite offerings from Magic Hat.

12 oz bottle from the Spring Fever sampler case. Thought my mouth was gonna dry out and crack from this otherwise insipid concoction. If this is what dandelion gets ya, please stay away from further experiments magic hat. BLECK!
