COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stop and smell the petals. Pistil is a summer beer unlike any other, brewed with a combination of dandelion petals, Pale and Acidulated malts, flaked oats, and Apollo and Northern Brewer hops that results in a one-of-a-kind beer with a slightly sour acidity and a smooth malt body. Perfect for taking down deep thirst.

(Bottle). Pours a slightly hazy golden complexion with quickly dissipating head. The flavor is a summery light and watery with slightly bittersweet taste. Could be more interesting if they used more dandelion. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from 12oz bottle. Wonderful floral opening with a smooth malt character followed by a sour bite. Great beer for a hot day in the sun. --you've been Dubbed.

Bottle from Fresh and Easy: Aroma is mild and has a minor scent of crushed coriander seeds along with a pinch of ground clove. Also, it did smell as if there was flowers but it wasnít until I read the description that only then I was convinced it was really there. Liquid was hazy glowing yellow hue with tons of sediment floating about while a thin layer of foam quickly fizzes down. The flavor follows the same profile as my nose sniffed out but the delicate sweetness combined with the soft delicate touch of acidic bitterness make this a much tastier recipe than the mass distrubted Magic Hat #9, but still is nothing special considering the remainder of beers on the shelves.

Pours slightly cloudy with clean white head. Very little aroma but what there is smells like weeds. Flavor is light is floral in a "tastes like grass clippings" kind of way.

Poured into a lager glass from a 3/4 of a pint bottle. An open sniff of hops hints; a traditional gold cloudiness; an exquisite taste of spritz complexed. Dandy Lions, indeed.

Aroma: Clean aroma, almost watery, with hints of cooked vegetables. Appearance: Cloudy pale yellow with minimal head. Taste: Medium sourness all the way through. Palate: Light body, slick texture, flat carbonation, long herbal finish. Overall: Drinkable, but the herbal taste overwhelms. Iím not impressed.

12 oz. bottle from Wilburís. Appearance: finger white head, straw yellow, clear, good lacing. Aroma: dandelion, floral, light earthy yeast. Palate: light body, average carbonation, dry finish, thin texture. Taste: lightly sweet through front, ending is somewhat tannin bitter. Overall, like the taste, but thin on the aroma and nothing much to say for palate. Drinkable.
