COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stop and smell the petals. Pistil is a summer beer unlike any other, brewed with a combination of dandelion petals, Pale and Acidulated malts, flaked oats, and Apollo and Northern Brewer hops that results in a one-of-a-kind beer with a slightly sour acidity and a smooth malt body. Perfect for taking down deep thirst.

Cloudy pale hue, white creamy diminishing head, lots of sentiment that dissipates cloudy to clear, smells flowery and perfumey, juicy and sweet, minimal hops, tad of honey, interesting and refreshing. Would drink not buy

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a thick frothy white head. Aroma of floral hops, lemon and orange zest, and a bit of bananas. Taste earthy, like grass and plant stems. Hints of citrus and a medicinal banana flavoring. Like children’s medicine that has been flavored. Nice carbonation and refreshing. Just doesn’t taste all that great.

Dont think this is as bad as other reviews suggest - at least hats off for trying something different - A bit watery but reminds you spring is just around the corner. Reminded me of a mix between a pale and a wheat without the funky coriander & orange flavors of some spring seasonals.

Bottle from giant eagle. Light hop smell and turbid pour. Crisp clean taste and sharp initial mouthfeel followed by smooth floral aftertaste. Not too spiced. Overall a decent warm weather beer. ---Rated via my mouth

From the Summer Scene pack. Cloudy orange pour - actually, more "floating particles" than cloud. Medium fluffy white head. Aroma is definitely floral, with a swampy earth background and some malty and hops hanging around. Flavor is hard to place - definitely a bitterness coming from something other than the hops, along with a dry mint taste and some grapefruit. a little malty at the end, sort of hurts the effect. This is pretty interesting, just doesn’t come together.

Pours medium yellow with a white lingering head and lacing. Nose is light resinous hops. Palate is light medium with a vegetal - not bad - taste. Very little bitterness.

Nice nose of honey and flowers that helps to offset the ugly appearance (I wondered if I poured into a dirty glass!). Pleasant, but not overly complex. Enjoyable summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very interesting beer. Aroma and flavor is of fresh herbs, citrus, lemongrass. No bitterness. Herbal aroma and flavor strengthens as beer warms up. Very good for summer.

Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus zest, lemon, and light malts. Flavors of citrus, lemon, acidity and a rather dry, almost puckering finish. Honestly not as bad as expected, but still nothing I really cared for.
