COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stop and smell the petals. Pistil is a summer beer unlike any other, brewed with a combination of dandelion petals, Pale and Acidulated malts, flaked oats, and Apollo and Northern Brewer hops that results in a one-of-a-kind beer with a slightly sour acidity and a smooth malt body. Perfect for taking down deep thirst.

Very interesting beer. Aroma and flavor is of fresh herbs, citrus, lemongrass. No bitterness. Herbal aroma and flavor strengthens as beer warms up. Very good for summer.

Light colored beer and fresh taste. This is a little headed beer and it goes down very easy.

Cloudy pale hue, white creamy diminishing head, lots of sentiment that dissipates cloudy to clear, smells flowery and perfumey, juicy and sweet, minimal hops, tad of honey, interesting and refreshing. Would drink not buy

Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus zest, lemon, and light malts. Flavors of citrus, lemon, acidity and a rather dry, almost puckering finish. Honestly not as bad as expected, but still nothing I really cared for.

Iíd say itís pretty good looking. Clear and lightly tan with a big fizzy white head that surprisingly had really good staying power and left good lacing. Rising bubbles are plentiful. Aroma is lightly grassy, a little spicy, and a bit floral. Flavors that come through are reminiscent of a spring field, with floral, grassy, herbal, with a light hops bite. Body is very light, well carbonated and a bit fizzy, easy to drink with a slightly grassy aftertaste. Overall itís a nice summery type beer, which ironically, Iím drinking in the dead of February. Nothing spectacular but worth a try if thatís what youíre looking for. Great for Saturday yard work.

This has got to be the worst thing Magic hat has ever done. Pours a hazy seedy yellow with a ton of carbonation. Like a fizzy lifting drink. The taste is very sour, and as far as I can tell has no redeeming quality at all. The aftertaste hangs around like a trip to the dentist office. Just bad.

Dont think this is as bad as other reviews suggest - at least hats off for trying something different - A bit watery but reminds you spring is just around the corner. Reminded me of a mix between a pale and a wheat without the funky coriander & orange flavors of some spring seasonals.

Bottle from giant eagle. Light hop smell and turbid pour. Crisp clean taste and sharp initial mouthfeel followed by smooth floral aftertaste. Not too spiced. Overall a decent warm weather beer. ---Rated via my mouth

What in tarnation is this dandelion ale? Served up first in January, which is a bit too early to be thinking of spring, grass, and flowers, which this beer didnít have much flavor of anyway. Flat, boring.
