3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Advertised as a mild dark beer, and it lives up to it. Has a nice dark taste, but mild enough to drink some several.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
3/4 pint bottle, 4.2% a/v
Pours a near coca-cola dark, with a thin tan head. Aroma is malty and caramel. The taste is sweet and could use a bit more hops, but overall very well done. Palate is a bit sweet but by no means overbearing. A good intro to darker beers.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery in South Burlington, VT. Pours a clear brown body with a finger-width, creamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is malty sweet with some nutty grains, a touch of toast, and a few fruity esters. Flavor is better. Malty and moderately sweet up front with some bread, toast, and a light caramel before some nuts and a balancing earth comes in. A few fruity esters before this finishes with a mild sweetness and dry thanks to a light grass and toast that leaves just a light bitterness. Medium length aftertaste following a smooth, clean, lighter body with a moderate carbonation. Overall, this was nothing special, but for a Mild it was solid. Clean malts and a light hop and toast to balance. Not bad.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a dark chocolate color, with a thin white head. It has both a grassy aroma and taste, with a hint of burnt caramel in the flavor. Not bad, but not my favorite.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Medium brown with foamy dissipating head. Smells of a hint of citrus, a hint of toastiness, and Iím getting a little soapiness. Light flavor, not too sweet, a little watery, light toastiness. Little tingly on the tongue.
