Great IPA-ish hop flavor, unusual for ambers, which I usually don’t care for. Definately worth a taste.

Had a great floral aroma, and tasted of spicy hops. This is by far the best Magic Hat that I’ve tried.

Pours a nice amber color with a thick head. Odor of pine, citrus. Flavor is a nice blend of hops and grapefruit flavor without being overly bitter. Overall, a nice amber ale.

12 oz bottle. (Or 3/4 pint as the label says.) Pours a clear amber color, thick head, leaves some lacing. Aroma is a citrusy hops, followed by some caramel and malt. Flavor is great, a perfect blend of citrusy, piney, floral hops, followed by a thick, creamy malt. I was not expecting this from the "amber ale" description. Overall a great brew. Got this as a bargain too, since it was out of season.

12 oz bottle pours hazy amber but I’d disagree that this winter hopfest falls into the traditional ’amber ale’ category. Strong but pleasant hoppy and pine aroma gives way to strong hop taste but finishes better than you’d expect. The cover art on the bottle is unattractive but what pours out into the glass will be welcome.

12ozer. Pour is ruby redish with a lacy off white head. Aromas of piney hops, citrus, and caramel. Flavor is hoppy throughout and finishing smooth. I thought this is one of Magic Hats better brews.

Pours slighly hazy dark brown color with huge amount of bubbly manilla head. Aroma is citric hops, specifically grapefruit and orange with slight sweetness. Flavor is a bit watery and sweet base with a nice amount of citrus hoppiness, bit of roastiness in the body. Overall, not bad at all.
