Got this 12oz bottle in a trade while back in the states and enjoyed back in Ireland. Pours a nice amber orange color with a slight bit of cloudiness and a 1/2 finger head that leaves some lacing. Hops hit you in the nose right away and then are followed by some pine hints and some bready malts. I enjoyed the nice combination of hops and smooth pine tones that became more and more full as it warmed up and developed some more malt flavor. Carbonation, dryness, and body were right on. Very nice. I think that I could drink more of these in one session and at less than 6% ABV they would not knock me right off of my chair right away. If I had the opportunity for more of this I would definitely try it, especially on draft.

Bottle. Drank from the bottle. Aroma of caramel malt. Caramel flavor followed by a distinct hop taste, touch of spice. Decent.

WOW! This is an excellent beer! Bottle. Pours nice deep amber color with a medium size white head that left ok lacing around the glass. Aroma was hoppy and filled with the smells of malts and spices. Taste is great, clean and bitter with hints of the malts flowing through. It has a crisp clean finish to go along with its great taste. A beer that has not only made it into my rotation but one that I will be hard pressed to take out of rotation.

A good american ale with a strong color and finish. The beer poured well and emitted a pleasant aroma. Has a nice taste with a smooth drinkable quality to it.

Bottle. Amber color, offwhite head. Crisp hoppy aroma, some spices and a sweetish malt tone. Grassy and rather bitter flavor, still with the soft malt notes. Citrus and floral notes.

Very nice amber. A little light on the nose but a great hoppiness that ends in a nice bitter finish.

bottle poured a caramel amber in color with a nice wave of carbination on the pour leaving a thin layer of light tan head with pretty good retention. aroma has sweet hops, grapefruit, brown sugar, and malts. taste is such a great combination. fresh pink grapefruit with a little sugar on top, malted to give nice bitterness, sweet to level it all out, and finishing with candy hop and bitters. this is the first magic hat that gives me some wow, and my favorite one by far. very refreshing and easy to drink.

Wow, I did come in in this where the scoring has been to this point. It pours a nice amber/ redish color. Get a little spice in there but not enough as I would have liked and expected.
