12 oz bottle: Pours a nice amber color with a nice sized chewy tan head that lingers around for a while. Aroma is Bready, Caramel, candy sugar, with a citrus and hop overtone that is pretty decent. Taste is got the hop and citrus in there with some light sweet caramel candy characteristics. Overall, It’s decent nothing I would go out of my way to get again.

This is a drinkable beer. It has a nutty fairly well balanced aroma. Nutty overtones with malt and hops. The taste is average with a slighty sour (not infected) flavor. The finish is citrus like and sticky. Overall, I don’t seek this beer out but I will drink it if it is offered.

Bottle: Amber hued with a foamy fading head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of caramel and bready malts, herbal grassy hops, hint of pepper and clove, apple and tangerine esters. The taste is mild bitterness in concert with acidic fruit over a layer of sweet malt. Finished with a hint of spice. The whole flavor profile is muted (aka dumb down) and got old in a hurry. Okay I guess but a weak attempt for a winter seasonal.

Pours a thick head that produces a sheen of microbubbles coming up from the edges and center of the beverage. Exhibits a cloudy amber appearance and has a mildly hoppy aroma. Prouces a pleasant, but fleeting bitter taste along with a spicy aftertaste.

A bit of floral Aroma. Flavor is fairly bitter, and spicy. I wouldnt call it a "hop" bite, just, well..spicy.

12oz BB Feb08 - Brown liquid, nice head, citrus and coconut nose. Flowery, perfumy palate. Remarkable.

Draft at CAH Innsbrook. Medium towards dark amber, slight head. Aroma is caramel and citric hops. Flavor is also caramel malt and citric hops, perhaps a hint of earthiness. Not bad. Not great. Just sort of there.

Bottle. Pours bronze-ish red with voluminous head. I find the aroma kind of weird, like hops, water and leather. Taste is pretty straightforward hoppiness, with some creaminess and an underlying sweetness. Maybe a tad bit out of balance, but it’s one of Magic Hat’s better brews.
