This one has a great balance of everything. Pours a reddish brown. Smells of hops. Surprising for an amber. Nice touch of malts, but the hops are the dominating element of this brew. Lightly spiced. One of Magic Hat’s best.

Smell is really hoppy and sorta sweet. Really dark amber on the pour with a thin white head.Sparce lacing. Taste is very hoppy with a slight citrus taste. Mouthfeel is smooth with some carbonation. Overall, a pretty good beer.

no head, clear amber body, super sticky fresh hop nose, sweet malt flavor toppled over with sticky fresh hop citrus bitters, basically an IPA

12oz bottle. Very balanced ale with great tasting hoppy finish. On taste alone, I mistook this for an IPA.

I liked this beer a lot. A very flavorful Amber Ale. Lots of hops for an amber. Agree with tsarman that it tasted like an IPA, especially for (sure this a biased generalization) an east coast brewery’s Amber.

Raisin, thistle, and pineapple aroma, good strength. Cloudy ochre, thin golden head. Pretty strong, decent balance of grapefruit peel and caramel. Light lemon peel finish. Very much like an IPA, but dark. It loses some oompf as it warms.

A great amber, which I think is a pretty decent style. Well balanced. Hoppy and still with some malt. Tasted like an IPA to me. Its been a while since I had a new Magic Hat, and this one did not disappoint. Might be one of their better brews. Did have the standard Magic Hat background flavor.

Interesting label, the biker chick and all, I can relate. Just a tad of fruity sweet smells. Darker looken beer. Carbonation is not overly present. Certainly in the genre of APA or mild IPA. Medium bittter linger.
