Commercial Description:
Allow us to introduce Roxy Rolles, She's our beautiful new Seasonale. A delicious bottle of bold for the cold. A free-wheeling spin on the classic American Amber is filled with caramelized malts and spicy hops that fire your inner cylinders.

Pour is a dark amber with a average tan head. Aroma is lots of roasted malts with some caramel in there. Flavor is again caramel malts with a small touch of hops in the backround. An ok amber ale as there are some things to look for in this beer and I have deffinatly had worse.

Big head, amber color, starts off with touch of typical marzen maltiness, then immediately follows up with moderately intense hops, with a decently bitter finish, but crisp finish that lingers. A great, hoppy deviation from the smorgasbord of oktoberfest beers.

Found this one bottled at Binny’s in St. Charles, Illinois. Deep, reddish-brown pour with a thick, tan head. Malty, citrusy nose. A pronounced flavor of grapefruit dominates an otherwise well rounded beer. Bitter finish. A very good amber ale, although unusually marketed as a fall seasonal.

Bottle. Sweet hoppy nose with a good deal of resin and crystal malt. Actually reminds of a raw IPA bursting with overripe fruit. Dark ruby pour with a tanned, tiny-bubbled head. Taste is extremely dry and very bitter, straight up rubber glove astringency and woody, earthy notes aside the resin. Medium caramel under the citrus and heavy heavy crystal, medium body and a sharp crystalline finish and delicate aftertaste. Pine. No fooling around here, pretty f’n hardcore for an Amber.

( 12oz bottle ) Pours a clear deep amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of evergreen, resin, earth, caramel, lemon, and eucalyptus. Flavor of pine, grass, herbs, caramel malt, and nuts with a moderately bitter finish.

The appearance is fantastic (dark ruby chestnut with an impressive tan head) and the aroma is decent (spices, hops and roasted malt) but it ends there. Flavor is surprisingly bland and watery. Something is definitely missing - good start but a disappointing finish.
