| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 1, 2009 ’09 Bottle, poured out to a carmal color with a light carmal/off white head that was also on the light side for the amount of carbonation visible on the side of the glass. Smells of a nuts and sweet malt maybe a hint of some fruit somewhere. Tastes of piney hops with a side of malt. Not overpowering in either case pretty much baseline normal ale style amounts. While it’s not a horrible beer, it’s not really all that impressive but it could be far worse. AmEricanbrew (1808), Doing Rogue, Louisiana, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 28, 2009 bottle to shaker. A very nice dark amber/red/orange color, but hardly any head, which dissipated quickly anyway. Some lacing. aroma of sweet malts and syrup. The flavor was malty and nutty, with a bit of hop bitterness. Decent taste, but no palate - too thin and dry, but very easy to drink. A good beer to drink outside during the fall. angrypirate06 (709), Texas, USA
