Bottle, first beer of 2007!
A good American Pale Ale, enough malt, dry mouthfeel, very good hopping bearing biting resins, both aroma and taste. Very pleasant, good to start the year with.

Bottle from dkachur, thanks! Red amber color. Grapefruit, grassy hops and red berries in the aroma. Firm grassy oily flavor with grapefruit and red berries, flowing into a dry hopbitter aftertaste, with some strawberry fruit. Nice!

Pours a transparent dark copper amber with a nicely-lcaing froth of light tan head. Aroma has a nice fresh resiny hoppy character and some sweet caramel malty notes. Starts fairly full and toasty malty sweet with a grapefruity citrusy hop balance. Finishes crisp and bittersweet. Very drinkable and enjoyable version of the style.
