Jan 11, 2007 Bottle, first beer of 2007!
A good American Pale Ale, enough malt, dry mouthfeel, very good hopping bearing biting resins, both aroma and taste. Very pleasant, good to start the year with.

Nov 1, 2006 (12oz bottle, best by Feb 08(?)) Crystal clear copper body topped by medium beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, spruce, some lemon, apricot. Taste is medium sweet, spruce, caramel, light lemon. Light-medium body, some stickiness, some crispness.

Mar 13, 2008 Bottle from dkachur, thanks! Red amber color. Grapefruit, grassy hops and red berries in the aroma. Firm grassy oily flavor with grapefruit and red berries, flowing into a dry hopbitter aftertaste, with some strawberry fruit. Nice!

Nov 10, 2006 12oz bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Bottle labeled best before F ’07. Happens to be my 2,500th rating on RateBeer. Poured a dark amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of roast, earth / dirt, caramel and citrus. Tastes of caramel and citrus. Thinner body.

Feb 13, 2007 Bottle... Hazy dark orange ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Fruity, lightly earthy nose. Mild chocolate, evergreen, maple syrup, pink grapefruit and lots of tropical fruit. Tannic, fruity flavor with bitter grapefruit rind and tropical fruit. No sweetness; tongue numbing hops. Medium-bodied and astringent with mild carbonation. Bitter finish with a dash of salt. Much better than expected!

Oct 10, 2009 ( 12oz bottle ) Pours a clear deep amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of evergreen, resin, earth, caramel, lemon, and eucalyptus. Flavor of pine, grass, herbs, caramel malt, and nuts with a moderately bitter finish.

Feb 1, 2008 Pours a transparent dark copper amber with a nicely-lcaing froth of light tan head. Aroma has a nice fresh resiny hoppy character and some sweet caramel malty notes. Starts fairly full and toasty malty sweet with a grapefruity citrusy hop balance. Finishes crisp and bittersweet. Very drinkable and enjoyable version of the style.
