12oz. Bottle: Aroma is floral hoppy with hints of strawberry, grapefruit, citrus, spruce, resin and pepper. No malt aroma. Poured dark ruby-amber in color. Big, rocky, tan head lasted. Very good lacing. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is HOPPY. Pine, spruce, pepper notes. Heavily bitter. Not sweet. Light to medium body. A little watery and thin. Lively carbonation. Long bitter finish. Overall, quite good. Much more of an IPA than an Amber.

Pours light orange-brown, semi-hazy, medium white head. Very aromatic hop character of pine, and citrus, slight malt. Flavor is similar, with a very good balance of hops and malt. Good aftertaste of citrus and pine. Very drinkable and enjoyable beer.

Spectacular aroma, lots of piney hops upfront, with a strange subtle sweetness. Almost more of a malty pale ale then an amber. The hop flavor works well with the malt body, could be a little more substantial on the pallete

"See with your heart. Hear with your head." Pours a foggy reddish amber. Oh, man. This nose. Talk about grass. Just a huge pile of freshly cut green grass in it’s prime. At the same time it is spicy, and for the love of me, I can’t pinpoint what precisely it is. As I was pouring it I got a whiff and just had to focus on it for a while. It calms down fairly soon, so get it while the gettin’s good. Flavor is massively earthy and robust. Has a nice leafy tone to it and a firm hop quality to it as well. Stays very consistent throughout. Feel has some good carbonation to it and a liquid feel that is very good as well. Overall this is a good drink. Definitely worth trying, especially to get a whiff of that oh-so-unique nose. Suggested.

Aroma is of fresh hops Head is copper Color is dark ruby It starts out like a dry IPA and then the fruity malty amber comes in. It’s a nice change of pace from IPAs. Definitely hoppy enough to qualify as an IPA. Very pleasant bitter finish.

12 oz bottle purchase at Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured a hazy dark amber color with a thin tan head that lingered. Aroma of floral hops and pine. Flavor was well balanced. The maltiness was solid and provided a good base for a perfect piney finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. This is by far my favorite Magic Hat beer (of my limited selection).

Presentation: It was poured from a Brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: It has a deep amber colored body with some visible carbonation and very good clarity. On top sits a modest light tan head that hangs on well and makes some nice spotty lace on the glass. Smell: The aroma has good strong pine and citrus hops with notes of grapefruit and lemon. Taste/Mouth feel: It has a solid, rich malty base with very solid and pleasant citrus hop notes throughout. The hop bitterness builds towards the finish and lingers a bit before it slowly fades off the tongue. It has a solid medium to full body with a smooth yet lively texture and nice carbonation. Notes: Overall it is a very solid brew and quite enjoyable.

Deep amber color. Pours a nice off color head that leaves behind a network of attractive lacing. Although some malt can be detectied the hops make the strongest statement in both aroma and taste. Overall a very tasty and drinkable seasonal ale.
