Naka (412), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 10, 2008 Dark amber pour with a small, beige foamy head. A sweet fruity and caramel nose with some floral hops. It tastes pretty much exactly how you would expect from the nose: strong hops, mostly floral, but with a hint of pine. If you look for it, you’ll find some caramel malt too, but it is pretty overpowered by the hops. Very drinkable, if you dig some hops.
Imaena (240), Portland, Maine, USA Aug 22, 2008 Bottle form Alex 08’ Pours a hazy brown amber color with a beige head. Malty nose with slight syrupy sweetness coming through. Hopp bitterness and subtle sweetness. Finish is dry and funky. AgentSteve (747), Livermore, California, USA Aug 17, 2008 Bonus beer from ? Pours attractive opaque ruddy caramel color with a halo of a cream colored head. The nose is dried fruits, brown sugar and sweet malt. The flavor goes much more earthy and a touch bitter. The finish is strangely a bit vegital. Damico (50), Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 5, 2008 This amber ale doesn’t have the best aroma or flavor, but can be enjoyed if you like a slightly hopped ale. With an amber color and small head, it’s not the most impressive brew. nick76 (2030), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 4, 2008 The aroma is hoppy with pine and citrus hops. The aroma also has caramel and lightly roasted malt. The appearance is amber brown with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall pretty good. car2nwallaby (7), USA does not count Jun 5, 2008 Hoppy aroma, nice amber color. There is some nice flavor, but it is overwhelmed by what in my opinion is excessive hopping.
