For all tastes = standard boring Blonde ale. Didnít really expect more, yet somehow disappointed. Very very pedestrian.

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a sly burnt yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than about thirty seconds. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. One filmy ring of lacing clings to the side and then slides into the beer. The smell had a dried lemon rind to it and grasping a dried sweet grass trying to balance. The lemon is bitter and huge and dry. The taste was mainly harsh bitter lemon. Dried out lemon hits in the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with not so much sessionability about it, probably due to the fact of the overly bitter component of the lemon. Overall, some would call this one dimensional, me, I guess we could say that, but at the same time, Iím not really impressed with the aroma and taste, so...thereís a good chance, I probably wonít come back to this.

Draft at Madrones in Frederick, MD served in a pint glass; clear golden color with white head. Aroma notes of light malt sweetness, some grain and faint grassy/fruity hops. Taste adds bread, more malt sweetness and light earthiness. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with clean finish. Nice enough malty yet crisp golden ale.

12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a transparent light yellow color with very little carbonation, razor thin white ring about the vessel for a head with very light lacing. Aroma of grass- and thatís about it. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt just tastes like grass on the start, light pepper in the middle, finish is rather bland which transcends into water. Drinkable, but everytime I have a Magic Hat brew, it just tastes off to me.

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours clear gold, no real head, lace or retention. Aroma of grassy and dank. Taste is sweet, no real bitterness. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, watery mouth feel. Finishes skunk like. This is either old or just belongs with the TV beers. Not good.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 1/9/2015. Pours slightly hazy golden straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, cracker, bread, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a good English pale ale style. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
