Beautiful golden color. Pours well with nice white head. Perfect on a hot day. Probably the easiest magic hat to drink.

Bottle from sampler pack. Pours clear golden yellow with creamy white head. Aroma is breast and cereal malts, faint caramel, light pear, and light floral notes. Flavor is bland; mostly pale malts, light hops, and faint toast; dry finish. Light/medium body and medium carbonation.

From a bottle. Pours pale almost clear gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like light grains, light malt, light lemon, dry feel and not a lot of flavor. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like light malt, corn, and grains.

Very light would be ok on a hot day. Beer is very smooth up front but has a slight bitter finish.

gold color; musty, hoppy aroma; a light, refreshing, easy drinking beer; crisp and bitter with an earthy, mild malt base; well balanced

Appearance: has a slight haze to it, beer is an average gold, pours with a large white head that fades pretty quick Aroma: light grain, pretty faint Taste: very plain with a light bitter finish Palate: lively carbonation, light mouthfeel, leaves mouth dry, not much aftertaste Overall: a little too bland for me, highly drinkable but doesn't have any flavor to it, typical blonde ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle of very clear, golden ale that pours with a semi-durable head and a good amount of visible carbonation. Both the aroma and the flavor are fairly light, as expected for style. Slightly sweet and made with more light malts than hops. Feel: near medium body.

Very bland watery brew. You do get some dandelion or flowery type flavor in there (Not a particularly good one, though). Reminds me of a much less tasty version of the Sam Adams East-West Kolsch from a few years back or maybe a blonde ale, but nothing so much as an adjunct lager with an odd hop or additive choice. I like several Magic Hat brews and enjoy getting their mix packs, but they ought to shelve this beer for a while, and by for a while, I mean forever. It’s inoffensive, you can drink it. It doesn’t taste like vomit (Magic Hat Single Chair 1 Saranac Caramel Porter 0). This gets into the save yourself some money and buy some Natty Boh or Pabst Blue Ribbon territory, though. Fortunately, I got it on sale, and there are 3 other kinds of beer in the box.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a hazy pale golden color with a thick foamy white head. Faint aroma floral and citrus hops. Taste is biscuity, with a slight sour citrus hop bite.
