2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
(12oz bottle thanks to my favorite provider of top-tier beers, Fratto) gold pour, effervescent bubbles, fine white bubbles on top. Nose of hairspray, grain. Taste of grain mash, a bit astringent, and hair, some spiciness as well. Tiny bit of cherry. Gross, stale, old linger.

Pours a murky golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt and a little citrus. Flavor is tart wheat, grainy, and light grass.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up honey and bready notes plus the house vegetal character.. not very enticing. The flavor found honey and bready notes again at the core (this time more honey), with the same deep, persistent vegetal notes as the nose.. dry with a hint of earthy bitterness on the edges.. a little lemony tartness joined on the grainy finish. Light-bodied, but slow-moving through the palate.. tanginess toward the back was welcome.. overall not enjoyable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours light golden colour with an average white head. Aromas of malts and wheat with hints of sweet fruit. Taste starts with bitter wheat, then moves in to the sweets of the malt and fruit (pear?). Finishes with a crisp sweetened wheat flavour. Overall a bit lighter than other Magic Hats I have tried but makes for a good summer patio beer.

2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a light golden color with a little cloudiness to it. Aroma is a slight bitter and sour hoppiness. Taste is very plain and disappointing with an initial tartness that quickly fades. Just a very plain and slightly tart beer that leaves no lasting impression whatsoever

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Iíll admit, at first I thought this was a golden ale. Well, my thoughts changed as soon as I smelled it. It smells like a cream ale for sure. That grainy almost malt liquor smell. Not much to write home about here. The taste wasnít offensive. It was light and a bit creamy. But again, nothing to write home about. Cream ales still are the red headed step child of beers. Single Chair did nothing but affirm that for me.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
If this is actually a cream ale then the folks at the brewery need to be looking at the grain bill or possibly their brewing techniques. Lackluster across the board. Lacked body and pretty much any taste whatsoever. I stopped half way thru. boring and yet another let down from Magic "no 9 is our entire profit margin" Hat.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a dirty blonde with thin white head. Aroma is clean with just a touch of hops. Flavor is crisp and drinkable. Not too strong in either direction. Decent balance. Makes for a decent session brew.
