Magic Hat Brewery: Pours a pale gold with a white head. Aroma is almost of nothing, but there is a whiff of a hop here and there, along with a nice malty backbone. Taste is pretty good, but as could be imagined, nothing complex. Grassy kind of hops and a thin malt backbone. This would make for a good summer beer. Unfortunately, I had it in winter, although today was hella warm. Oh well.

Had on tap. Pretty boring ale. Tastes more like a domestic lager. Not much smell, and no unique taste. Not a fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at an esbls tating. From Rob. Cloudy and golden. Little head. Weird flavor but not horrible. Kind of what is expected from this brewer.

Slightly tart, must have the same yeast as #9 or something. IT is pretty crappy.

Well well a let down by MH. Mad River deserves a better beer than this. OK bubblely bright yellow with soapy head. The aroma is mostly astringent grain and little light fruit. Taste is a medium sweetness. It isnt bad but just boring

(12oz bottle thanks to my favorite provider of top-tier beers, Fratto) gold pour, effervescent bubbles, fine white bubbles on top. Nose of hairspray, grain. Taste of grain mash, a bit astringent, and hair, some spiciness as well. Tiny bit of cherry. Gross, stale, old linger.
