Orange pour, tiny whit head. Bready scent. Meh, not much here, bready malty taste. Guess you could pound a few back is a plus.

Rich cognac color and lumpy parchment foam. Huge bready nose spiked with pear preserves and cilantro. Lychee? Smoke? Outrageous, deep nutty malt flavor with black coffee notes. I’m impressed that it is appropriately malty and not mired by sweet/caramelly crystal malts. Balanced hops provide an artful counterpoint. Medium-light body, chewy texture. Finishes with a gentle earthy bitterness and a slightly dirty cherry-scented pipe tobacco aftereffect. The rest of y’all are crazy, this is a pretty nice Vienna.

Finhead (1171) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - FEB 8, 2010
A hazy amber pour with off-white head. It has a nutty malt aroma with some smoke and cardboard lingering in the back. The taste mildly sweet up front, but finishes dry and bitter with a somewhat rotten taste. It has a medium body and sticky texture.

12oz bottle (2010) into a pint glass. The pour is clear brown with a small white head. The aroma is burnt caramel and seltzer water. The flavor is very similar.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of malt, nuts, oak leaves, light bread, and slight smoke. Poured orange/amber in color with a small, off-white head that diminished but lasted around the edges only. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Ok lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, nuts, slight cocoa, light bread, oak leaves, slight caramel, and a hint of smoke. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, nut, and slight caramel finish is dry.

glennmastrange (2241) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - FEB 8, 2010
Tap. Aroma is of toasted, almost burnt, light resin , some toffee and a hint of paper plant. Head is small, frothy, slightly off-white, with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery witha lively carbonation. An average tasting beer, probably easy to drink with bar food.

Beerman6686 (4302) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2010
This poured a cloudy lighter brown color with an eggshell colored head. Aroma was malty nutty and a little bit of stale garbage. Flavor was nutty and something else that I can only describe of offensive burnt malt. This stuff was almost a drainpour for me.

Bottle. Just an average beer. Has a nice amber color but everything else about this beer is so average.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a nice white head. Smooth malt aroma. Light caramel notes. Nice, smooth taste. Kind of crisp. Some malty presence, as well as some caramel and hops. Nice Vienna.
