2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hazy lite brown. Soapy smell at first. Then goes candy sweet on olfactory. Soap carries over to first taste and then it morphs into a smokey background. oily soapy palate, almost like an ale. Quite rude at times even tho my drinken buddy likes this unique stuff. Yes, discerningly malt, choco carab.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is a cloudy brown with a large foamy white head. Aroma is very grainy with a lot of caramel malt following. Flavor is some burnt malt with a bit of toffee and caramel. Pretty spot on for the style and holy crap a decent one by magic hat!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pour is copper red/brown, just a touch of haze, with a thin tan head that quickly dissipates to a ring. Pleasant aromas of sweet malts, a bit of grass and pine nuts. Carbonation was fizzy and soft. Flavors were very good, mild roasted nuts, brown sugar, quality malts and a bit of mild spice. Very minimal hops presence. Finish was smooth and satisfying. I like this beer, and could easily finish off another one in short time. Overall a very good quality brew of this style, that I enjoyed alot.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The aroma is like grain husks and brown sugar with grassy hops. The appearance is a nice deep amber with a large head. The taste is like cereal with a bit of paper and a bitter finish. The palate is right for the style. Overall it’s nothing special.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a medium creamy beige head that lasts ahile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a fruity malt with caramel. Thin mouthfeel with a dry fruity malt with light toast and a nice dry finish. Easy to drink a good Vienna from Magic Hat.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark orange amber pour with thin off white whisps of a head. Strong aroma of cereal grains, light vegetable notes, dirty in a bad way. Flavor is strong syrupy caramel, some grains. It gets a bit clunky on the palate, fizzy yet thicker, Kind of a lame one here. Tastes pretty fake. Weird.

Draft @ Monster B’s. The poor’s man Brooklyn Lager. Surprisingly a bland offering from Magic Hat.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Pours a fizzy amber with a small yellow head that dissipates like soda. No lace. No retention. Aroma is toast, brown sugar, some chemicals. Taste is burnt toast, chemicals, old pancake syrup, artificial candies. Yuck.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(bottle - 12 oz) Clear copper pour with a fizzy white head. Dirty and musty aroma with some vegetable and sour notes. Flavor is very musty and dry as well. Some nuts and caramel, but mainly bitter and stale grains and hops. Nothing much to it, and definitely nothing special.
