Bottle: Pours a transparent dark copper amber with a stringy-lacing froth of light tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet, toasty nutty malts with a touch of caramel toffee and some noble hops. Has pretty decent body and carbonation for the style with some toasty pale malts and light sweetness fairly well balanced with grassy hop bitterness and floral character before a drier, bready finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable, but could use a touch more sweetness.

Bottled. Poured medium amber with a short, easily-resuscitated off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet caramel and toffee notes with hints of molasses and vanilla.. dry, toasted grassy hops around.. I enjoyed the yeast they used in here. The flavor found more of the sweet caramel and molasses at the core.. bright earthy hoppage and vanilla surrounded.. light peppery yeast laced throughout.. spicy on the finish, picking up touches of tobacco and peppery notes. Light-medium bodied with at least moderate carbonation on the palate.. spicy with a solid flow across the palate.. well done.

This is just pure garbage, fart in a bottle. Why even bother to make this drivel?

Pours clear deep copper with white head. The aroma is caramel, lagery yeast, a touch of molasses, crystal malts and a bit of graininess around the edges. The taste is on the crisp side to start with some spicy malts and graininess and then quickly picking up sweet caramel, crystal malts and lagery yeastiness. Midway and to the finish it picks up some dry malt roastiness to help balance out the initial sweetness. Pretty nice stuff.

On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a clear golden orange with a medium to large beige head. Very sweet caramel on the nose, lots of toast. Sweet, toast and a hint of cocoa. Rather empty, sweet and caramel filled. A touch metallic, and almost buttery smooth. Soft bitterness on finish. Better than expected, but still rather dull and not something I’d really want to be drinking much of.

Bottle 355ml
Aroma fresh aromatic hop character, slightly fruity with sweet malt as base.
Appearance cloudy amber garnet. Medium tanned top.
Flavor and Palate : Medium bodied with thinner sides. Nutty with sweet caramel like malts. Rather flat at finish accented by some herbal citric notes.

12oz bottle shared with blankboy and garthicus. Clear amber, small frothy off-white head. Smells burnt - scorched grass, burnt sugar - taste burnt cereal grain ... decent carbonation, why am I continuing? This brewery occasionally hits mediocrity ... but not with this.

12oz bottle (2010) into a pint glass. The pour is clear brown with a small white head. The aroma is burnt caramel and seltzer water. The flavor is very similar.

Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o HogTownHarry. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with a small diminishing frothy off-white head. Aroma is vegetal, grainy and burnt -- I’m not liking it. Flavour is also vegetal and grainy along with sweet malt and a hint of nuts. Light to average bodied. It’s so "blah" and "meh".
