amber and sweet...not a huge fan of Magic Hat as I think they overseason but this beer was a refreshing choice at a live music event where the taps were probably not the cleanest...I was happy...

Bottle into pint tumbler. Amber with white head. Expecting vinyl taste but not bad, with some hops and citrus on the tongue. Clean finish but a little watery. One of MH’s better offerings, I suppose.

I apparently like this one more than most. I thought the color was nice. The aroma was ok, very earthy. Also had an earthy taste with a nice bitter finish to it. Touches of citrus throughout. Overall a very drinkable beer. Not a ton of overpowering flavors in it, but what i found to be a nice balance.

Bottle. Pours a copper/amber with a decent, long lasting one finger head. Aroma is sweet malts, toasty. Taste is more sweetened malts, some roastiness, nuts. Finishes bitter. Mild/medium bodied. Well after the finish, it does leave an odd peanut like taste lingering. Not sure what the deal is with that - but it’s not overly strong. Still, odd. Ok offering, nothing great.

Bottle. Nice amber color. Lovely aroma, mildly Nutty smell. Not much head. Nice balance between hops and malt. Like a mild fat tire, and that's ok in my book. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

If you like sweet lagers, you will like this one. Light caramel color with a very slight nose. It has a light yeasty taste. Not a big finish. Pleasing beer.

the packaging/style sold me on this beer. I’ve rarely had a ’bad’ beer from Magic Hat so I figured ’why not?’. The brew could use some more balls, so to speak... it fell very flat and left me wanting a pull in either direction. A little sweet and heavy on the tongue, left me craving ice water. Had to try, wouldn’t bother with again, though. I’ve had significantly better Amber ales/spring seasonals.

An OK amber lager, not as smooth as I would have liked, but still a quality product from the brewers at Magic Hat.

Spring Seasonals are hard to pull off. Similarly this one struggles. Although its flavor is abundant, the beer’s overall taste leans too heavily in a burnt wood direction to really be a drinkable lager. Flavorful beers are always better than watery ones, so I’ll give this beer its due in that category. But the question comes back down to "Is this a good flavor?" Unfortunately, the answer is mostly a no. It’s not horrible, it’s just not a very comfortable drink.

Lacks much aroma, great auburn color. Good malt taste for a lighter, spring beer. A little bitterness lingers on the palate. I wish it had a bit more flavor.
