A beer with beet juice color.
Wacko is the liquid song of summer: Crisp like the morning, cool like the evening and quenching all day long. Pop the top and set your summer loose. Wacko is a delicious summer beer with a big malty aroma, a subdued hop bite and a clean, slightly sweet finish.

Not terrible. It was kind of like a american wheat with some of the maltyness that invokes. Surprised rto find out itís beet based. Nice color, somewhat muted smell. Not unpleasent though not outstanding. I think it was a touch bitter, but refreshing. If the aroma was better I would give it a much higer rating

Pours red, like for beer this is looks like fruit punch. Has a small white head from carbonation. Aroma is Sweet and of mild hops. This beer is light and easily drinkable, no hop presence here but the carbonation does excite the tongue. Brew is pretty sweet with a dry bitter finish. Taste floral, and of itís main ingredient: Beatís. Interesting beer here completely different than any other I think Iíve ever seen.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2009 Tried this one as part of the summer variety 2009, reminded me of watered down #9. The color makes a Killianís look brown. Malty and sweet, but extremely smooth and quite enjoyable.

The pour is a stunning coral/apricot and rasies an oddly watermelon pink-tinged head of foam. Fantastic clear cinnamon red in the glass. Lusty Munich malt nose with hints of pear and candy apple. Tastes like it smells; breadcrust malt and muted orchard fruitÖ perhaps a kiss of tangelo. Fullish body, malty finish and faint sweet pomegranate aftertaste, turning tart over time. Then I read the fine print on the label and saw it contains "beet juice color"... I donít really get "beet" out of this, which is a good thing. A very nice bock, but "Summer seasonal"?? Intriguing; I was very pleasantly surprised.

What a summer beer! Pours with a pink-amber hue and nice head. The hops are mild, with the malts taking center stage. A perfect beer for relaxing in the warm summer evenings.

Light strawberry soda red tinged head over dark peach colored beer. Slight yeast and organic aroma. Taste is subtle, almost fruit flavored carbonated water. Very light and refreshing.Unique slightly bitter organic finish. Good summertime light-ish beer.

On Tap at MacGregorís in Henrietta. The color is a bright red with a minimal head of pink foam. The aroma is a little difficult to pick up in the bar but it smells a little sweet. The flavor was surprisingly mild - sweet, and just the lightest hint of beats. No one at the table turned it down and they werenít crazy beer people like me. Iím a little surprised by the harsh ratings, I was happy to see a brewery make a beat beer and do a decent job at it. My only critique is that it didnít have a lot of flavor and Iím wondering if they dumbed it down.
