Cannonball is an India Pale Ale in the true tradition, high in alcohol and massively hopped to survive a long sea voyage. We don’ t want you to wait though, crack the cap and let the flavour explode on your palate. Tropically fruity, resinous hops compete against a sweet malty backbone, while a rasping bitterness builds to a mouth puckering crescendo. Our hop bomb might just blow you away…

Tap at Teresa’s, pours hazy copper with small white head, nice lacin. Orange sugar, melon, pine, and bitter grapefruit dankness to this cask beer. Medium to fuller body with lighter carbonation. Finishes dry and tangy with some delicious west coast hopping.

> A decent cask English IPA on tap in rural Pennsylvania despite all the things that could go wrong

>> Great foam atop a clear, glowing gold pour. Nose is cantaloupe, squashy, fresh noble style hops. Low cheesiness. Taste is vegetal up front, then spicy, bitter, honeydew rind, cantaloupe sugar. Not bad. Drinkable. Soft palate.

<!> hmm, would like to try more Magic Rock

cloudy gold, large bubbled puffy white head. Restrained orange and pine nose, lightly musky with heavy manure. Heavy caramel sugar up front, oily light pine with wood emerging late mid, light wood vanilla sweetness in the finish.

Bottle - slightly hazy dark gold colour with slim white head. Nice citrus hop, resin, apricot, caramel, malty aroma. Fruity, hoppy, resinous in the taste with nice balancing maltiness. Nice smooth medium mouthfeel, late bitter finish. Excellent

Tap at BD shepherds bush. Nothing spectacularly great or to set it apart at all, just a very well done IPA. Slight resin, sweet caramel and big pine on the nose. Plenty of bright fruits in the taste with loads of pine and sticky sweet resin which works well. Balance works nicely into this beer. Good stuff

Tap @ Drink Bar Appearance: hazy amber with huge head. The head stays. Aroma: cat piss, resin, grass, sourness. Flavor: resin, grapefruit, caramel, honey. Finish is long grapefruit bitter with some caramel sweetness. Alcohol is well hidden. Overall: nice fruity ipa.

330ml bottle from Beermoth. Fresh gooseberry aroma.. prickly citrus hops although the prickliness dissipates a little too quick unlike the likes of Summer Wine’s Diablo.. some pink grapefruit in there but flavour mellows more than I’d like. It’s a great beer, but it just kind of wets my appetite for Human and Un-Human.

330ml bottle, surprised I hadn’t already rated this, one of my home county’s best hoppy IPAs. Pours clear light golden brown with a big nose of tropical fruit hop over a silky malt backbone, moving into a dry and bitter finish that is quite long leaving a bitter grapefruit aftertaste in the mouth with a bit of peppery spice. Carbonation lively, body light. Very nice IPA.

Draught at Kitty's Public House. Slightly hazy amber color, white head. Bitter taste with floral hops, citrus, mango, peach and pine. Bitter finish with hops, grapefruit, peach and pine. Excellent IPA.

Tap at S&A - strange brew - hoppy nose promised lots - kinda sour taste - not the expected sweet mat/hop bomb - surprising light body - interesting for one drink - just a bit too weird for me.
