COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cannonball is an India Pale Ale in the true tradition, high in alcohol and massively hopped to survive a long sea voyage. We don’ t want you to wait though, crack the cap and let the flavour explode on your palate. Tropically fruity, resinous hops compete against a sweet malty backbone, while a rasping bitterness builds to a mouth puckering crescendo. Our hop bomb might just blow you away…

A good approximation of an "American" IPA with a good amount of fruit hop aromas and a lot of pine. Seriously tasty.

Sampled draft @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2016. Very hazy orange, little white head. Nose is dank fresh onion hop, low yeast, garlic, hay. Taste easy yeast, big fresh onion & garlic hops, dank, some grapefruit. Very creamy, fun & pleasant. Nice fresh, almost chewy IPA. Nice one.

Murky burned orange with a medium crisp white head. A hefty whack of pineapple, mango and punchy pine on the nose. Mainly pine and grapefruit flavours here, with a slightly sweet and subtle biscuit base malt backbone. Solid but not overly complex IPA. Thick and velvety mouthfeel, nice and syrupy. Good IPA - doesn’t match the hype though.

J’aime "vraiment très beaucoup". L’alcool a du sens et soutient l’amertume. "Grassy and resinous": oui ! Et très nette et rafraîchissante dans son expression. Une caisse de 50 pour cet été SVP. Merci

Unusual IPA, has a nice sweetness up front which gives was to a grassy finish. Interesting IPA that’s a little different to the norm. Would certainly get on tap but it’s a bit pricey in cans

Can. Somewhat murky orange with a white head. Aroma of mandarins, grapefruit, pine, pepper. A little bread. Moderately sweet with loads of citrus and some mango. Mentholish pine comes in along with fairly strong bitterness to clamp down towards the end. Nice but forgettable.
