Cannonball is an India Pale Ale in the true tradition, high in alcohol and massively hopped to survive a long sea voyage. We don’ t want you to wait though, crack the cap and let the flavour explode on your palate. Tropically fruity, resinous hops compete against a sweet malty backbone, while a rasping bitterness builds to a mouth puckering crescendo. Our hop bomb might just blow you away…

A fabulous beer. Intense citrous flavours, but not over bitter. A lingering aftertaste.

Clear yellow beer with a nice crisp foam head. A clear citrus nose with lemon, lime, and sweet pineapple. Long bitter taste with fruit inspired flavor. Just a very good ipa, clear direction with nothing that disturbs. Maybe a little imbalanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

7.4% ABV. IPA. Nice respectable head of small creamy foamy bubbles. Nose is full of fresh pine, citrus and passionfruit. Nice carbonation in the first mouthful, setting up the palate to receive the full body contact of bitter hops sliding up against you. Nice clean finish with a notes of green papaya. There is a nice lingering aroma of pine left on the palate and in your nose. The solid malty foundation is respectable in every way. Very pleasant ride. Goes on the favorites list. A very drinkable if somewhat limp-wristed (in the aroma hop department) ale. It’s ok, cannonball, we love you anyway.

Draught pint at Smith Street Taps in Singapore. Golden colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium carbonation. Flavours of fruit, hops and a sweet malt backbone. Medium bitterness - tangy grapefruit. Exceeded my expectations - an excellent IPA.

Draught at Euston Tap, London on 21 May 2012. Poured a lightly hazy yellow, with a dense white head. Aroma of passionfruit in the flavour, with some citrus and honey. Big grapefruit hop burnt of flavour, with spruce and hay. Finish was resin, chewy malt and light toffee sweetness.

A great English ipa, which compares well with the best of the U.S. versions.
