COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
3.9% Curious our flag ship pale ale, is the beer you’ll want to drink every day. Pale in colour but unlike other pale ales lacking nothing in the flavour stakes. We use plenty of US hops to give the beer a floral/grassy aroma and lip smacking citrus flavours which combine with a defined malty character to make a magically moreish and quenching beer. Its session beer the same but different, conjured for flavour…

Cask at The Stockbridge Tap Magic Rock takeover. Clear straw gold with a white head. Lovely hoppy nose. Great citrus hop notes. A lot of flavour for such a low abv.

[cask at Holyrood 9A, Edinburgh] Golden pour, decent white head. Inviting nose of grapefruit citrus and meadow flowers (as far as I can remember what they smell like). On the taste - lovely, fantastic blend of grassy hop and sessionable citrus bitterness. Great hop profile for under 4%. Superbly drinkable – I may have caught it on a good day, but personally I thought it was stunning [17022012]

Tap at holyrood 9a. Pale golden with white ring of head. Tropical fruit hop aroma, plenty grapefruit. Similar taste, little grassyness. Thin, undercarbonated and bitter. I would prefer cold and fizzy, bottle. Tasty but.

Hand pulled at the Craft Beer Co, London. Fresh, loosely bubbled head atop yellow beer. Smells is lemony fresh and spring morning. Taste is citrus, fruit squash and squelchy hop juice, inside a water based super swiggable blend. Refreshing, very easy to drink, flavoursome, without being mondo hoppo.

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a blonde colour with a decent white head. Nice resinous hop aroma of grapefruit, passion fruit and caramel. Very drinkable with similar hoppy flavours of grapefruit, pineapple and passion fruit. Moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Quite a dry finish with lingering grapefruit. Very nice.

Cask at Craft Beer Co. Pale yellow, bubbly white head. Big tropical nose, pomegranate? Citrus, orange peel. Hint of diacetyl maybe. Dry lemony palate, hint of bready malt, some pepper, smooth bitter finish. Ace!

Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, London. Clear pale golden. Juicy citric nose with some coriander. Mid sweet with light body and well rounded mouthfeel. Surprisingly bold and curvy for a < 4% beer. Quite bitter in finish. Very American in approach.

Pale blonde with resinous and tropical fruits aroma. Crisp carbonation, very easy drinking a lovely drop, but need to try at the start of an evening next time!

Cask. Golden color with a light off-white head. The nose is light and fruity, there’s some grassy hops too. The taste is very smooth and buttery - there’s a nice balance of bitter and sweet flavors. The body is light and easy; you could easily drink a few of these in one sitting.
