COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark Arts blends 4 malts and bags of whole hops to deliver a decadently deep and indulgent experience. A luxuriously smooth mouthfeel, is followed by spicy hop notes and full flavours of chocolate, liquorice, blackberries and figs. The finish is rich and satisfying with a lingering roasted bitterness. Our stout will convert you to the dark side.

Opaque black beer, tidy tan head. Semi dry palate, crispy. Dark malt, roasty. Not a lot of hop here. Finishes semi dry with a bitter roast malt aftertaste. One dimensional, needs something to balance all the roast malt.

Aroma: Cocoa, raisins, dark chocolate, liqueur. Very hoppy aroma.

Appearance: Black body with a thick tan head that fades to a thin film. Nice lacing.

Taste: Very bitter. Great concentration of flavours - rich dark chocolate primarily but also sharp citrus, coffee and berries.

Palate: Medium to full body with a sticky mouthfeel. Light carbonation fizz.

Overall: A superb stout - very bitter and hoppy. Full of classic stout flavours.

15/12/2012 Ma che siete venuti a fà (handpump). Bevuta a Birre Sotto l’Albero. Nera, impenetrabile, schiuma beige molto abbondante e persistente. Al naso sentori di caffé, cioccolato nero fondente, luppolo, leggera liquirizia. In bocca malti tostati, cioccolato, caffé, discretamente lunga e intensa, appagante e ben fatta. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione soft. Non male come stout.
