Dark Arts blends 4 malts and bags of whole hops to deliver a decadently deep and indulgent experience. A luxuriously smooth mouthfeel, is followed by spicy hop notes and full flavours of chocolate, liquorice, blackberries and figs. The finish is rich and satisfying with a lingering roasted bitterness. Our stout will convert you to the dark side.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2016 Pitch black beer with a beige, frothy head. Smells of rich, earthy malt and a touch of chocolate. Surprisingly light. Malty, bitter chocolate and then a splash of light, tangy, fruity hop in the flavour. The malt is quite long-lasting. Only disappointing thing is it feels ever so slightly watery. Lovely, though.

Pours very dark brown. Almost black with decent beige head. Aromas of chocolate and hint of roosted malt with coffee undertones. Good carbonation and mout feel for the ABV. Taste is coffee dominated but lots of chocolate too with a hint of smoked roasted malt. Finish is semi sweet with a touch of bitterness and lingering smoke

Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice, chocolate, roasted malts and coffee.

Opaque black beer with a slight/medium beige head.

Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice and chocolate; ends slightly bitter with roasted malts and coffee.

People should know that I always drink with my brother. We had a can each and we had a huge difference in flavour profile. One was sweet with dried fruit and liquorice, while the other had loads of roasted malts and coffee. Added together however, this beer is amazing. Deep and strong flavours with a lovely smooth palate.

Tap @ Borefts ’15. Notes from then: Nice stout. Nothing special though. Nice malts/oatmeal hints. Some chocolate. Okay!

Cask@Brew Dog, Leicester. The aroma is lightly roasted, with oatyness. The flavour is quite bitter and roasted with some coffee. Overall a nice dark beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

torréfié, liquide, un rien acide et piquante. Chocolat délicat et discret en arrière plan. Le tout est très smooth et pas mal élégant ! Pas écœurant du tout, avec un petit côté "beurré" pas désagréable ...
