COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, keg & bottle; Regular.

Dark Arts blends 4 malts and bags of whole hops to deliver a decadently deep and indulgent experience. A luxuriously smooth mouthfeel, is followed by spicy hop notes and full flavours of chocolate, liquorice, blackberries and figs. The finish is rich and satisfying with a lingering roasted bitterness. Our stout will convert you to the dark side.

Pours dark brown with some off white bubbles. Smells of roasted malt, some spicy elements. Tastes of light roasty malt, a touch of soy sauce, some spici earthiness on the finish.

Can. Dense cappucino-coloured two-finger head sits on almost black beer. Aroma is overripe plums, cocoa powder, roast, and green hop aromatics. Taste is a combo of hop and dark malt bitterness balanced by fruity malt sweetness. Viscous.

Tap c4. Pours nearly black with a off white head. Aroma of roast, choko, light red berries, caramel. Rather straight foward with a touch good roast.

Pours black with a tan head. Nose shows roasted malt, cocoa and soft liquorice. Flavours include more dry roast and cocoa, as well as a bit of toasty and nutty malt. Carbonation is much too high.

Can. Black with short lasting foam. Aroma and taste is dark malts, roasted and sour coffee. Aroma is weak. The taste also has a touch of soap or minerals witch I dont enjoy. Thin body.

Draft at Khyber Pass. Opaque back pour that started with a good show of khaki foam but reduced quickly to a soft ring and left no lasting lace. Not much aroma. Dark malts. Carob beans. Glossy chocolate liquorice. Black currants. Cold coffee. Desiccated walnuts. Vanillin. Charcoal in the finish. Distinctive but feels more like a strong Porter than a Stout.
