(On tap) Black with short lived tan head. Subtle aroma of dried fruit and dark chocolate with a slightly smokey hint. Medium bodied smooth but with some bright carbonation. Taste is rich and complex with dried fruits - raisins, figs and dates - some chocolate, plus a hint of bitterness in the finish. Very nice.

Black pour under a foamy light khaki head. The aroma is really lovely with earthy milk chocolate and nutty caramel tones. The flavor is a bit more bitter than I like, particularly at the beginning, but mellows into a earthy cocoa and bitter black roast malt tone. Finishes dry and roasty.
